I already have enough shit in my luggage, or else I would.

Not to mention I'm not entirely sure where within the attic it resides.

Oh god. I bought it. It indeed seems like a reverse bizarro hungry hungry hippos.

But there's a wind up ball spitter. So it SEEMS slower than HHH. But I'm sure if four people are playing (as opposed to just me hitting it into the other goal easily) that balls will be constanly flying and crazy battles will ensue.

Hope to play some of you guys soon!

Note: I also bought monopoly/yatzee/battleship/boggle for the DS. Hope we can all try that out sometime. Maybe.

Mixed bag again, Some failings with getting this organized, If ignored you please understand this year I was really out of it before it all started >.>

I apologize if i offended anyone with this event.

However, My hungry hungry hippos did get used and enjoyed in the tabletop freeplay area. They mysteriously disaapeared. Im not sure if they broke completely or just were ninja'ed.

I did hear a cool story from one of the enforcers about some 2-3am hungry hungry hippos action. It was indeed a sight to behold.

I do think that does need to be a game that should be a part of pax lore.

Me and my friends were having a pretty good time with it saturday night, until some of my other frieds (who are coincedentally retarded) decided it was amazingly funny to launch the little balls as high as they could and inevitably lose them. As far as I know, we returned them to the tabletop freeplay enforcers with all the games.

Also, sort of off-topic, but what the hell does "Love Me Not" do in Hello Kitty Uno? I tried to ask one of the enforcers but was promptly sassed and not given an answer.

For real. It's a shame that everyone else playing HHH at that time was just trying to see how far away they could launch the balls. :(

Given that pax is more valued to me then chrismas(not that I don't love jesus because I do) Since chrismas sucks hard for me working in retail and... people have forgotten what chrismas means. I digress

Pax is unlike any other experince I've ever had. I've never felt more at home with people outside of my area. I was thinking about driving up with ctishman and the car name we had "car tango lima zima tequila" and no, we didn't break any open container laws.

I have a similar value attached to the event. For the majority of the year, I'm going to school in this little town. I don't do a whole lot since I'm occupied with studies, but I spend a fair amount of my spare time playing music and being a nerd. We've got one comic shop, a handful of lame coffeehouses, and not much else of social networking value. There's a real lack of things to do here, since most 'normal' people (read: wankers) choose to go clubbing out in Vancouver. I prefer to play video games and read Tolkien, is this such a problem? I don't have any resonant sense of other nerds here, since they are too far between. As a geek myself, my console station doesn't even contain a single top-level system-- my newest purchase being the DSlite. I do my own thing, and I get by with that. Aside from a good concert scheduled here and there, life doesn't particularly hold any long-term goal pinnacles, so I'm just doing things as each day comes.

There's this one event that for some reason, shatters the mould. I don't know what makes it so powerful, but damn is it ever. When August rolls around, I know what's coming. I get to break free from the regular cycle of non-accomplishment and boredom, and embark on an epic journey. If being a geek were a religion, PAX would be my Mecca. Even if I don't know more than a dozen or so people among the thousands, I feel a kinship within everyone. Perhaps PAX is my reward for staying put in this little town? Who knows. It may sound *really* nerdly, but I've never had such a good time away from home as the time I spend at PAX.
