So, for the past couple weeks BF3 has been virtually unplayable. I get a few minutes and then crash to desktop. It looks like the game swapped out and can't swap back. I have to kill the process to exit and it continues to eat CPU cycles.
Searching on Google reveals a shitton of people having this problem and no solutions that I have been able to find, so, anyone have any idea what's going on?
Intel i7 2600k, no core passes 53 degrees.
Asus DirectCUII GTX 570, peaks at 60 degrees, no hotter.
16 GB RAM, Windows 7 64, Creative Sound Blaster Audigy, Google Chrome.
Any help would be awesome since I've almost given up and DICE and EA have no obvious solutions (Again, perhaps I missed it, but I could find nothing).
Ya'll should install Battlelog+ or Betterbattlelog, the one that let's you rate servers. That way we can rate the PA server as great, with constructive comments such as active admins, fair play, etc.
Thinking the title could have "High Level PTFO server" or something.

Clever, they just reused all the buildings from back to karkand but just reskinned them.
When you blow them up,they all end up looking the same anyway.

It does this a few times within a ten second frame and then goes back to normal for a while. Really obnoxious and it messes up my aim.

Do you have a CPU with hyper-threading? If so, is it enabled? Try disabling it, I heard it can cause stuttering with BF3.

I do not. And the game has been running perfectly fine for a week. This is the first time it's happened. And it was apparently happening to other people in the server I joined. But it also happened to me across multiple servers. So I don't know.

Overclocking seems to have created stuttering issues for many people. If you do have an overclock going, try disabling it.
