I love how decades bleed into each other like this. The early nineties are still so eighties, in much the same way the early eighties look so seventies.
I think i've only read every fifth trenches comic so I may be completely off base here but
it seems like they're all awful people. But not in a 'haha these guys are awful' way. More in a 'are we supposed to be on his side? also the motivations of everyone are completely opaque to me' kind of way.

Isaac falls within this category pretty easily.
Credenza (the rotund boss guy) is pretty much your stereotypical sitcom boss, so not terrible, so much as disinterested.
Cora gets mad about video games, but for good reasons, and she's pretty much one of the few likable characters.
Marley got fired because of some hallucination-type shit, so I have no idea what the fuck is going on there.
Q (Utilikilt Guy) is pretty much not around anymore, so shrugs all around.
The rabbit is a rabbit.

Issac is probably the most well meaning person in the strip. He's full of himself but his general motivations are genuine attempts to be nice.
Corra is a stone cold bitch. STONE COLD.
Marely got fired and having worked with a Marely in real life it was very satisfying.
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
