There was a promotion here a long while ago where crisp packets had DBZ tazos, basically pogs, and I collected them like the dumb kid I was. One day I bought a packet at the video store with my mum, and to my horror there were no tazos in it. I made a fuss and sulked a little, because my collection was almost complete. My mum must've felt sorry for me because the next week she gave me what can only be described as a fat stack o' tazos. She told me she'd written to the company and complained that her son didn't get anything, and this was sent back in return.
When I graduated from high school she admitted she just bought like a dozen packets of those chips.
She then admitted as well I only got into my prep school because she brought in my Pokemon drawings which convinced the principal to give me an verbal test, not a written one.
And that my hermit crab didn't shed its skin so it changed from brown to orange, she just bought another one when the first one died.
That was a learning experience.
Also we need to talk about that time the dog and grandma took a vacation to Italy and decided to live there forever.
