    I should pick up GW2 sometime, it looks very cool and the skill/weapon interaction systems (I overheard a friend talking about what happens when he equips a dagger in one hand and a pistol in the other, and how it CHANGES THE SKILLS if he changes hands) sound really neat.

    In the meantime, I shall ponder the ends of the earth.

    yeah i've actually held onto my lv 35 masquerade set for possible transmuting at 80 because It's a cool look. right now it's that or whispers light but since one of those is prohibitively expensive after the last couple patches...

    first things first, where do you find the armor that that NPC is wearing?

    I transmuted my anonymity hood onto the facemask i picked up and this happened. sad it didn't survive once i logged, because it looks so awesome.

    I am consistently blown away by the attention to detail in Guild Wars 2

    Honestly I haven't played a game with as much love and attention put into the look of it since... world of warcraft 2004? Maybe the Bethesda games

    Wait transmute level 35 masquerade set?

    The masquerade set is the level 80 tailor set, is there another one from like a personal story or karma vendor?
