It began during the daily exercises. As you were doing your stretches and jacks, the instructor on the telescreen began to twist and morph. Soon, it took the shape of an officer of the Ministry of Truth.
All who are observing this broadcast must IMMEDIATELY proceed to your nearest assembly hall. That is all."
Confused at the slight break in routine, you leave your shabby apartment, lighting a Victory cigarette on the way. As you enter the hall, you can already hear the speaker talking of the ongoing war with Eurasia, and the beginnings of the Two Minutes Hate. You quickly take your seat:
As the soothing anthem finishes, the same officer takes the stage. He speaks. "As you know, the insidious Eastasian forces will stop at nothing in their long quest for victory. And we want you to know that a small, yet very dangerous infiltration force has invaded London." Panic ripples through the crowd. He continues. "Even though we will find them, and crush them, we urge you to not take justice into your own hands. Report any suspicious persons immediately. Return to your homes."
As you leave the hall, you begin to think. Surely, if you could apprehend these vile Eastasians, you would better your station. The fellow residents of your apartment building share your thoughts, and as you walk back you begin to plan on how to protect Big Brother...

We'll get there. Basics first.
Uh...
Each day, a person must turn in their suspicions on a possible Eurasian infiltrator. The most suspicious player will be eliminated.
If there is a tie, the Party will resolve as it sees fit. This will typically not be the most equitable course of action.
Vote close will be at 12:00 midnight CST on the button. ANY time stamp of 12:00 or later will result in a null vote or action. Edited vote posts will not count. You are REQUIRED to make one vote and non-vote post per day. Failure to do so will result in replacement or removal. I will be strict with this.
Sign up with a bold limegreen statement. Clarifications must be asked in a bold darkorange.
Standard Phalla rules apply: no sharing of host-provided PMs via screenshots or direct quotation. As a matter of fact, no screenshots of anything. However, information may be shared indirectly, such as through rephrasing. You may not add new players to preexisting private conversations after the first message - start a new conversation instead. No anonymous contact is allowed. All messages must be traceable to a player in the game. Once you are eliminated, you may not make any more game conversation with players remaining in the game.
If any players create proboards for private communication or interesting conversations including more than two players, please send links for them to the host and add him as an admin.
Please include the host on all game PM's.
Vanillager PM: You are a loyal citizen of Oceania. You do the Party’s bidding, because you know that they truly care for your well-being, and watch out for you. If they say that you are at war with Eastasia, then the Eastasians must die.
You win when the eternal war is at an end.
So...what's the catch?
Although concessions had to be made, I am trying to stay somewhat true to the theme and setting of the novel. Those who have read the novel will realize that the theme and settings are those of treachery, deceit, and doublethink. The most cautious and observant players will likely be the victors. If you feel like you can't give this game your attention, then I advise you to not sign up. Long story short: This is a Farangu phalla.
