Bearforce 1 is hilarious and I always approve, but seriously you should listen to Bears. It is an awesome metal song about how bears will ruin your fucking shit by a goblin themed metal band.

I got a hit a total of 4 times. My helmet cam died and i made it down the mountain on my own. I was also hit in the side of my helmet and my eye pro was shot off of my face. We were doing overwatch on the village to recon and gather intel. I was point heading down the face of the hill with the LT. when we got hit. the rest of the squad was pinned down by machine gun fire. I didn't start the video until a few mins into the firefight for obvious reasons. I came out into the open to draw fire so my squad could get to safety.
A round struck the tube by my hand of the 203 grenade launcher which knocked it out of my hands. When I picked the rifle back up it was still functional but the grenade launcher tube had a nice sized 7.62 cal bullet hole in it and was rendered useless.

It was a pretty vietnamese heavy part of orange county, and so you saw a lot more eastern stuff than anywhere else I've lived. There was this store, Galaxy Video, right across the street, and they had a whole section with just anime on it. I watched a bunch of older serials and movies, and damn if there weren't some pretty kickass films.

Wasn't that hand-drawn by fanartists? Yeah, they later went on to become Gainax, but at the time, how elaborate was their workspace while making that?
From what I've read it was basically a garage with a camera in it. That one short get's referenced in FLCL a bit, with Haruka riding her guitar and the baseball bomb going off in episode four.

I'd heard of this stuff called hentai

waiting for it to turn into porno
the boobs never came
they never came
Honestly, my favorite part of that whole clip I posted was when the missiles are fired while B-ko is offscreen, and I wonder "WHERE THE FUCK DID SHE KEEP THOSE MISSILES"
The whole fight is hilarious because it's a girl in a bathing suit vs a girl in a school uniform, played completely straight.
Also, the hand-drawn quality makes a subtle visual difference that's hard to really explain.
