Well, IDW is starting to reprint the DW stuff in new trades, but all of the stuff that hadn't been printed because of the "we're not paying you" fiasco is still in limbo.

    Pat Lee is an asshole.

Also, while I haven't read any of these (yet) I noticed the blurb for BW: The Gathering mentioned Magmatron.

    As in...like...Beast Wars Neo Magmatron?

    The awesome one?

I suppose so. There's another guest-star from a Japanese BW series in the book as well.

(i posted this over in H/A, but figured someone in this thread might have an answer here instead)

i recently picked up the Masterpiece Convoy MP-04 set while i was at Otakon. the thing is fuckawesome. however, there is a slight manufacturing issue that seems to be known as the "misaligned windows feature."
    prime1.jpg

here's a close-up of the chest; you can see how the left window (Optimus' right chestplate) is misaligned.
    prime2.jpg

does anyone else have this figure? is there any way to fix the misaligned window without breaking the toy or risking any damage to it? can the toy be disassembled in any way safely?

It looks like he's raising his pec at you, perhaps for lack of an eyebrow.

I have the 20th Anniversary DVD version of the figure, and I have the same problem. Although you've highlighted the left window as being raised, whereas I thought the right one was drooping...

Yeah, I don't have a solution either, I am however relieved to find out I didn't just get a crap one myself.

What about Stormbringer (takes place during Infiltration on Cybertron) and the Transformers Spotlight Vol 1 TPB? (The spotlights each focus on an individual Transformer. They take place in all different periods of time, but the events in each spotlight will play into the ongoing series in some way.)

Got through Spotlight and The Gathering earlier.

And it looks like next month is the new BW mini as well as the guide book and the Optimus Spotlight.

I disagree. They're probably the most original and awesome looking figures I have seen in a while.

Really nice contrast to the realism of the movie line.

Got to check them out in the TF display case. They did look pretty good, with the exeception of Prime. He was a bit small in comparison to the others.

I'm probably going to pick up a Bumblebee. The smirk is endearing.

I too find them to be terrible, though Slag is kind of cool and Bumblebee is cute.
