So, there is one thing I never understood about these sorts of conspiracies (where agency X or bureau Y is covering something up to make the current president look good). Isn't such a theory predicated on every single person involved having the same political views and moral compass as the president?
Do people assume that the BLS is staffed by 100% democrats while Obama is in office, and none of them would bat an eye about fudging data to help him? Because if not, how on earth would expect this sort of thing not to get leaked to the press by an anonymous source?
for bringing notes to the debate mitt will be automatically failed and the moderator will call his parents
More than the "lol, rmoney cheated", it's a guy claiming to be identifiable with the "common" people and then acting like the rules don't apply to him, or that he gets to play with his own set of rules. It doesn't do anything to help his likeability.
You can welsh on it...but you're going to catch even more hell than you did before.
Although with dbrock that might not actually be possible.
I was going to make a post about it being spelled welch, but then I wanted to see if it really did refer to the Welsh, and it does! It's like saying you got gypped. And now people do spell it welsh, since the ch spelling was really old.

well the thing about that is
I don't think anybody really cares if he brought in notes or not

right now, eh
because it's amusing, I guess

And obviously the press* is as well.
*except fair and balanced fox news, of course.
I suppose that might be true if we were to take it as tautology that you don't contribute anything worthwhile to this thread
Jasc brings the awful cynical young white guy demo
Well, at least one person is comfortable with it.
I am not sure this is meeting Shorty's high standards for edifying post content
she's cool
It better, because it was fantastic.
Is your bet only for this this forum or D & D, as well?
edit: Numbers added.
actually this should be a forum-wide rule
for all wagers?
lots of dicks need to be eaten.
See, this is one of those things that the "disagree" button would have been good for.
Using the @ tag doesn't actually summon him unless you put the numbers behind it as well
if you can do gif magic
please take this
and just add some white lettering at the top that reads "47% of the people are dependent on government"
and at the bottom that reads "My job is not to worry about those people"
that gif is already great and gets the message across
adding text lolcat style would just make it worse
for bringing notes to the debate mitt will be automatically failed and the moderator will call his parents
i agree it'd make it worse objectively
but it might make it the kinda thing that would be more likely to shared / laffod at by friends and associates
sorry, wasted triple post
It's shameful that our presidential candidates don't have to live up to the same expectations of citing sources as Wikipedia.
suddenly, the moderator realizes that to fulfill all of its main programming directives at once, it must resort to enslaving the human race
for their own good, of course
like, you have to have a my little pony avatar for a month, or compose all your posts without use of the letter 'e'
then by the laws of the forum you are not allowed to welsh on that bet
i think that's reasonable
Although with dbrock that might not actually be possible.
