Lhurgoyf is an all color creature type used for cards that depict large, reptilian creatures, with distinctive elongated limbs and large, toothed mouths. Lhurgoyf are primarily scavengers. They come in a wide variety of shapes depending on their scavenged sustenance of choice.
I am mostly joking. The price would, theoretically, go down now except this will probably have 0 effect on the price of goyfs. That pack price + the number of packs per box and fact that it's a limited run means there won't be enough goyfs in the entire run to make a dent on demand. Zoo is too good a deck.
gotta say, i'm liking wizard's decision to release things for formats that aren't standard
I really doubt it'll fall below $95. There aren't enough goyfs to go around at modern tournaments as is (because fuckers like me got 2 in a single box! HA!)

The supply it creates will likely be mitigated by a bunch of new people getting into Modern. Thus the format will get more popular and no one's collections will crash in value. Pretty much a win-win for Wizards.

This Modern Masters set has apparently also been designed to have drafting in mind
so my hope is that even though it is a limited run, if they are selling it with a drafting aspect in mind it won't be TOO limited and will at least see a couple print runs
enough for me to buy a couple boxes and make a pool of modern staples for which can rock the house with
I see modern staple prices falling, but not too much for the real beater cards
but hopefully commons and uncommons like Path to Exile and Kitchen Finks are reprinted and see a huge price drop because 5 and 8 bucks respectively for those cards is absolute garbage pricing
I prefer Tarmogoyf's old what-the-fuck-even-is-that-thing artwork.

I didn't get it till I saw the full art
it is a big monster with a bottom about to eat a dood
the most confusing part is the giant ant like pincers or bottom double beak
also it always looked to me like his back was a bit blurry and was in high speed motion, yet the rest of his body doesn't allude to this, his white stripes look like speed lines to me

but I do like mana cost symbols on the left
so you can fan out your hand
and see all the costs without the cards overlapping

I actually didn't like them for that reason. I learned magic at an early enough age that I hadn't really played any playing card games like poker, so when I would fan my hand of magic cards I would do it so I could see all the mana costs. Took me years and years to realize I was essentially doing it backwards from everyone else but at that point it was too ingrained so now I get annoyed when I play poker.

A short run booster pack set of cards from 8th Edition to Alara Reborn. 229 card set. 15 mythics, 53 rares, 60 Uncommons, 101 Commons.
Some cards shift rarity for various reasons.
Developed with draft in mind by Lead Developer Erik Lauer. You can draft "Storm vs. Faeries vs. Dredge"!
