Did our military engagement in Naalu space count as a successful invasion with an opposing GF, or does the bombardment of the world negate our ability to claim the objective?
Use of bombardment does not negate the conditions for satisfying the new objective.

Can I ask how many unplayed sabotage cards are left?
There are a total of five Sabotage cards in the deck, of which we have seen three played. Two Sabotage cards remain, either in players' hands or in the deck.
The L1Z1X take a Tactical Action, activating the 0.0.0 system. The L1Z1X exhausts 0.0.0 (5R), Faunus (1R), and Vega Major (2R) as well as turning in 1 PC for an additional resource.
PC Expended:
(PC: Enemy of the Throne (LAW)
Elect Player: If a player wins a Space Battle against this player, the attacker gains 2 Trade Goods, 1 Command Counter, and 1 Action Card. This card is then discarded.
With these resources, produce the following at the space dock located at 0.0.0:
GF x2 (1R)

Yin plays on the secondary ability (SA 3 --> 2), exhausting Darien (2R), 3 Trade Goods (TG 3 --> 0), and discarding Political Card "Publicize Weapon Schematics" (PC 2 --> 1) to gain Stasis Capsules.
Jol-Nar plays on the secondary ability (SA 3 --> 2), gaining Magen Defense Grid from their racial ability and exhausting Bereg (3R), Lirta IV (2R), and Arinam (1R) to gain Graviton Laser System. The Yin Brotherhood: Play Action Card "Local Unrest" (AC 4 --> 3), but is countered by a Creuss "Sabotage" (Creuss AC 3 --> 2).
Play the Primary Strategy of the (8) Bureaucracy Strategy Card, placing one Command Counter into Fleet Supply (FS 6 --> 7).
Yin draws the top two card of the Objective Deck, placing one back onto the Objective Deck and adding the other to the Public Objectives list: [1 VP] I successfully invaded one planet containing at least 1 opposing Ground Force this turn.
Yin declines to claim any Public Objective Cards.
Jol-Nar plays on the secondary ability (SA 2 --> 1), drawing 1 Action and 1 Political card (AC 3 --> 4, PC 3 --> 4).

Hmm, the creepy clone-father seems to be right:
1) ACTIVATE TWO SYSTEMS
After announcing a Transfer Action, the active player takes one Command Counter from his Command Pool and activates a system by placing the Command Counter upon it. Then the active player takes a Command Counter from his reinforcements and activates another system adjacent to the one just activated. Both activated systems must contain at least one unit controlled by the active player and must contain absolutely no enemy units (including Ground Forces and PDS).
Emphasis mine.
You could accomplish basically the same thing with just a basic build order in Creuss - pretty sure your FS can handle it!

we also would like to remind the Yin that they are now able to break the trade agreement with the ever expanding, currently dominating l1z1x. They would then be able to trade with the falling behind Naalu-just a thought.
No kidding, that's an awesome objective. L1Z1X are pretty threatening by default! :P
It's amazing how many bonuses they start out with. Four(!) starting techs giving them a +1 bonus to every ship in the game and the best homeworld. I want to have a word with the designer who thought Yin was the other race that needed 1/1 trade treaties
Our Secret Objective wasn't easy at all - we had to declare war on half the galaxy!
Most players have empty spaces next to their homeworld. It's just a matter of moving a single ship there.
Trust me though, you do not want to see how difficult the other secret objectives are. One of mine requires a similar war declaration AND expenditure of over 20 resources. Same amount of points too.

we also would like to remind the Yin that they are now able to break the trade agreement with the ever expanding, currently dominating l1z1x. They would then be able to trade with the falling behind Naalu-just a thought.

It's amazing how many bonuses they start out with. Four(!) starting techs giving them a +1 bonus to every ship in the game and the best homeworld. I want to have a word with the designer who thought Yin was the other race that needed 1/1 trade treaties
Most players have empty spaces next to their homeworld. It's just a matter of moving a single ship there.
Trust me though, you do not want to see how difficult the other secret objectives are. One of mine requires a similar war declaration AND expenditure of over 20 resources. Same amount of points too.
