Hap: Sam & Max are fantastic. Maybe a little bit easy in the beginning, though. I never played much of this sort of games, so a lot of concepts are new to me. :P

That reminds me, is the "season one" disc out yet? I want to play the new Sam & Max games, but I didn't want to sign up for GameTap (and I'd rather have a hard copy anyhow).

You can get the complete first season from their site for ~35$, you can download them right away and they'll send the hard copy to you. I believe they will start sending them out in a few days.
Reality 2.0 is one of the best point-n-clicks I've ever played.
A review copy of the disc set is on its way. I already reviewed each individual episode, though.
Hehe, that's kinda annoying. :P
I'm away from the internets early for a change, ta-dah.
You mean in that I need to review it again? I welcome it and I'm going to write an editorial on it.
My feeling is that watching a TV show/playing an episodic game in its weekly/monthly episodic format is different than actually playing it in one fell swoop. So, it'll be cool to plow through the game and see how different it feels to play all six episodes as one, big, contiguous game.
Tonight is going to be preparation for Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Shrimp, Tandoori Potatoes, Carne Adovada and Pinto Beans.
I should be able to eat for, like, a month.
Wow, that's going to be a lot of yogurt . . . if I understand Tandoori recipes correctly (likely I don't).
I'm under the impression that it's basically used as a marinade, so I'm hoping that smart use of ziploc bags will reduce the need for massive quantities. I'll probably buy two quarts.
We made our enchiladas the other night, and realised that the whole thing is good for possibly 5 meals (for two people).
My current poison of choice is a white yet whole-grain spaghetti. I just snap it in half before throwing it in the pot, then it's just the right length when it's done.
What's the best way to prepare a steak without grilling it, that keeps it juicy?
Rotisserie?
Let's say your tools are a stove and oven.
Broiling can work well - just make sure the oven is quite hot first. You might want to pan-sear both sides of the steak before you put it in the broiler. Put it on the top rack and close to the flames.
Pan-frying is good. Again, high heat to sear the outsides quickly. Preheat a heavy pan. Also, use very little to no oil if you can scare up a nonstick or cast-iron pan.
If you have a grill pan, those work well also. Again, high heat - you want to sear the outside to keep the juices inside.

Yeah, that Ohio thing? I already bitched about it but the majority consensus is that men get to decide what happens to uteruses because it's only fair since they don't have one.

Conchiglie. I like fusilli myself (the twisty ones), because they pick up the sauce as well, but are easier to cook.
I tend to think tagliatelle and spaghetti work best for thick sauces that have chunks of stuff in them.
C'mon Than, by now you should know that statement includes "Except my man-bear Thanny Poo!"
Now you've heard all of them, too, so it's something you can stop worrying about.
I should make myself a bunch of food tonight, but I'll be damned if cooking for myself isn't boring.
Prepare to be sore afterward.
:winky:
I don't go to an italian restaurant and order 'spaghetti' and assume I'll get ravioli.
I like angel hair. Cooking time is like 4 minutes.
Dinner and a movie first, then we'll talk.
Y'know, I've never seen an uncircumcised penis. :winky:
Well, I still haven't seen the Simpsons Movie...
It's funny because it's true.
When I saw them in concert, you'd occasionally look over at the drummer and he'd be going NUTS.

I love week-long meals. Or longer.
How did they turn out, by the way?

Women would need permission from a man to get an abortion.

That's pretty fucked up. I mean, I want to make abortion illegal, but even I can see why if it's legal it should entirely be the woman's choice.

I'm struggling between O_o and .
I tried to do both, but my face cramped up.
