Hey, I can't believe there's no thread! There's a stream here, they're talking about SCII now. Check it out here, you'll have to download the plugin.

Once you've done that, play the Giga stream.

EDIT: Well, I guess there's some coverage in the WoW expansion thread, but this thread is open for some SCII talk too.

    Sweet, they just played the first trailer. Looks amazing, the terrain and effect graphics are a definate step-up from what we've seen so far.

    and it says the match is at 1 pm. Which is what, an hour and a half away?

    This footage of a bunch of nerds walking around a computer from birds eye view was worth almost assuredly installing spyware. ugh

    Tastless is quite a good commentator for Starcraft matches, I'm glad they brought him in, he's not as good as the koreans but is about as good as they come.
    He was trying to be all pc when asked whether the Canadian or American had a chance in hell of winning the tournament. The real answer is that they have a very low chance of coming out of the first round at all.

    Well they had to... I mean there were a few areas that were closed off since preBC that were instance holders with portals going nowhere and areas/quests that were just closed off but seemed it was heading somewhere?

    Ul'dum (Uldamann's next incarnation all the way southern Tanaris)
    Stormwind southeast instance portal
    Stratholme's supposed instance portal to a deeper area (near the end where the gate opens and a flood of undead come pouring out).

    Azshara's unifinished BG
    Azshara's Timbermaw big castle gates (sorta implies an instance)

    Zones on the world map not accessible. Like the zone east of Loch Modan, or the zone south of Dun Morogh, (where the Tram shows there is a water where Nessie lives), how about the area closed off in Trisfal by a big wall where it supposed to isolate the infected.

    The Missing Diplomat (SW King is still missing all this time...)
    The Chain of Erkrainus quest, where you give the trinket to the NE in the cave of Swamp of Sorrows.

    That's all pre BC, what about BC areas, like that new troll instance in Ghostlands. When I first visited Ghostlands I was hoping for another UD instance like Strat. The troll instance isn't a bad idea.

    Actually, the Stratholme portal was the original entrance to Naxxramas, back when you had to move the whole raid through a 5-man instance to get to the raid entrance. Since they moved the entrance to Naxx outside, I somehow doubt they'll do anything with that portal.

    And I'm pretty sure the Eranikus quest was wrapped up during the Scepter of Ahn'Qiraj questchain, although they may continue it later on when the Emerald Dream is unlocked.

    Those other ones are still unused though, so there's plenty more to do. There's also the weird crypt behind Karazhan that's full of fucked up stuff, but that looks more like a developer's playground than a potential instance.

    Yeah, but he did emphasize the furblog starting zone too, so I'm predicting Tuskar and Furblogs as the new races :P

    Bunny is always the wc3 commentator nowadays. She's pretty good but something about her voice/commenting irritates me.
