Ok guys I figure I have a couple of options:
I can make my way to Lagos and give caliber my Washington.
I can hurry up to San Fran and pull a cube off it.
I can do what I can to clean up SA, knocking cubes out of Lima and Bogota
Or I could clean up Lima and Santiago, and the shuttle to ... I don't know where?
Thoughts?

It's a pretty big gambit, but we can get blue cured this cycle, and take out a lot of red in the process. (It's almost the dreams of a fevered mad man, but they are completely legal moves.)
1) Iron Weasel moves to Santiago, flies to Paris moves to Essen, and cures Essen.
2) BobCesca moves to Essen and gives Iron Weasel his Essen card (per the rules of the game, the researcher takes cards the same as everyone else), and go does the rest of his turn.
3) SeGaTai moves Caliber to Essen, then drives NotoriusBEN around Asia CURING CITIES WITH MY PAWN.
4) Caliber picks the Essen and Washington Cards from Iron Weasel, drives to Paris and cures The Blues
5) NotoriusBEN cures the rest of the Rumples in Asia.
The good is that we have the potential to knock out the entirety of red and blue in the coming cycle. thus we only fear 50% of the cards in the game.
The bad is that black and yellow are completely exposed and could quite possibly cost us the game.
well, fuck. Yea, we were literally a player turn behind on a lot of stuff. That outbreak in Asia wouldn't have happened if I was able to move on caliber's turn.
That's the nature of this game, sometimes, go big or go home. I was hoping we'd be able to buy some time but... nope.
I'd like to play again when the next cycle of players comes around.
Oh no, I think I have a tear in my bio-containment suit. I wonder how long that's been there ...
We were well and truly screwed by those Epicdemics, and the lack of blue meant a higher preponderance of red, black, and yellow. It was looking pretty bad as of a few turns ago; I'm surprised we made it as far as we did!
Good game guys, I'm definitely thinking about picking this up some time for my home table.
oh its the best. especially when you throw in the expansion. a couple new professions and even a bio terrorist mode.
It's a great game, but as you can see, a dominating personality (me) has the possibility of stomping on other players.
I tried to keep the tone so that I was offering suggestions on how to go about strategies

I tend to do the same thing when we play in my group, although i try to tone it down it is just too tempting to offer constant suggestions. The expansion is pretty great, although the new professions don't seem as strong as the old ones (I like the trouble shooter a lot, though).

now if only i can figure out how to run SPACE ALERT! by forum. I like that game because the time constraint makes it almost impossible to coach the best move in time. its 10minutes of panic followed by 20minutes of hilarity as you review what happened.
