The orange square on the initiative track is the Order Phase. Brown circles are Event Phases, and the blue circles are Refresh Phases, which take off all the activation markers.

Cards will go out in a few hours. In the meantime, I might suggest (since this applies now) that people brush up on their heroes' combat abilities if they have not done so already.

Also if people could please get in the habit of posting the text of order cards, as they have details the other side might need to know about, such as the number of iterations in a fight, in this particular instance.
Sorry, was waiting for a little concurrence on tactics, but in order to keep things moving ...
Your suicidal tactics may work temporarily, but never forget, the Emperor's armies are without number.
3 – Armies Without Number – 3 shields – Imperial Army: The next time 1 of your Imperial Army units is eliminated in this battle, place an undamaged Imperial Army from your stockpile in the area. It is considered to be engaged in the current battle. - All damage blocked.
Iteration 2:
3 – Strategic Withdrawal – 1 shield – Defending Unit: Move all of your units and Heroes in the target area to an adjacent friendly or neutral area. Activate the area, then the battle ends. This is considered neither a rout nor a retreat. [5 shields counter]
2 – Diversionary Tactics – 2 shields – Attacking Unit: Move your opponent's init marker forward 1 space. [5 shields counter]
7 damage (Sanguinius gives +2) and we also activate Diversionary Tactics.
Question: On iteration X, are you required to play X cards if you can? Or can you elect to play fewer?
0 – Open Warp Rift – 2 shields – Chaos Cultists: Take a Daemon Horde affiliated with this Cultists from the stockpile and place it in the Cultist's area. The Daemon Horde is considered engaged in the combat. Then draw 2 combat cards. [5 shields counter]
1 – Sacrifices Must Be Made – 2 shield – Hero: Apply a point of dmg to 1 of your engaged units to place a card from your combat card discard pile or your Hero card discard pile into your hand.
Yes, I believe so, plus you get +1 initiative due to our Diversionary Tactics. Let's see, Active player assigns damage, I think that's us, so we blow away your other squad of marines (3 damage = one dead 3 rank unit). Now it's just your traitor forces and Fulgrim.
I'll let the judges ... uh ... judge that, but to me it looked like your guys had drop-podded into a meat grinder. I have no idea what cards you had but I was ready to pulverize you guys into dust. +2 damage per iteration from Sanguinius is a HUGE bonus; like an extra high damage card per iteration. Seriously, that's beastly.
Sanguinius and the Blood Angels will hold back inside of the Imperial Palace. The spaceport is cleaned out, no need to crawl out and stand around in an unfortified structure.

Ok then. Imperium has reached an event phase.
Apocalypse Rains Down - Traitor team chooses any one area and resolves an orbital bombardment there. Note that, unlike pregame, fortified areas may be targeted now, but any unbreached fortification reduces bombard damage by two.

Those Diversionary Tactics are also really harsh.
Waiting to see if Imperium advances any before resolving the Event phase.
