Did I? Sorry I must have lost track while flying my Warsun around!

Oh, and Naalu: we both seem to have some pretty serious problems with our neighbours. You wanna call a truce so we can focus on the other guys? We don't have to be pals or anything, but maybe we can agree not to attack one another for a while?
If you'd rather just fight to the death, that's cool too.

Alright, cool. I gotta see what I can do about those gasbags to the West.
Related: The MindNet has been crunching some numbers and we believe that the Creuss Secret Objective is the one that requires Control of MR + a Space Dock + 8 ships in orbit. So anybody who wanted to fly over there and bust up SeGa's fleet before he really digs in would be doing everyone a favour.

Gracious Snakefriends of the Naalu, we promise we won't be overstaying our welcome. We merely wished to see the home system you had so beautifully telepathically projected into your minds. We've come, we've seen, now we're going home.

Once Creuss has selected their Strategy Card, there will be an opportunity for all players to declare or decline to play any further Action Cards during the Strategy Phase. After that, we'll start the Action Phase.

Better the enemy you know than the one you can't strangle because they're made of gas.
Also: No Action Card play

Or I think he figured it out from the start that, barring Warsuns, destroyers and cruisers are the best ships in the game. I was really surprised to see so many people going dreadnaut crazy.
OR it could be the objective that gives him 2 more points! Keep sending deathstars at the poor next to last place space orphans (with diseases!) though.

Before Strategy Card selection, Muaat plays Action Card "Strategic Planning", allowing him to play on Strategy Cards' secondary abilities this round without expending counters from Strategy Allocation (AC 7 --> 6). The Embers of Muaat: Select (6) Warfare II Strategy Card. The Yin Brotherhood: Select (5) Trade II Strategy Card. Universities of Jol-Nar: Select (4) Production Strategy Card. The Naalu Collective: Select (7) Technology II Strategy Card, converting a bonus counter into a command counter placed in Strategic Allocation (SA 1 --> 2). The L1z1x Mindnet: Select (1) Leadership Strategy Card. The Ghosts of Creuss: Select (3) Assembly Strategy Card.
A bonus counter is placed on the (2) Diplomacy and (8) Bureaucracy Strategy Cards.
Order of Play The Naalu Collective: (0) Technology II The L1z1x Mindnet: (1) Leadership The Ghosts of Creuss: (3) Assembly Universities of Jol-Nar: (4) Production The Yin Brotherhood: (5) Trade II The Embers of Muaat: (6) Warfare II
At the end of the Strategy Phase, Yin plays Action Card "First Strike":
First Strike
You may take your first action of the Action Phase before the player with the lowest initiative number. Then resume order of play as normal. Play: Immediately after the Strategy Phase.
MrBody, I agree with your thoughts about TI3 over in the board game thread. There are some crazy action cards that let you pull huge swings, and while there are sabotage cards to balance that out, the right people having them is pretty rare.
There are, what, five sabotage cards in the deck? Even if you've got one, the temptation to say "well, this could be worse, I'll save it for later" is pretty strong.
Yea I don't know what the magic number of sabotage cards is but more seems like a reasonable balance, wonder if that's a house rule anyone has messed around with.
Speaking of leaving, I don't suppose there's a chance Muaat will be withdrawing from my corner this turn? We're gearing up for some spring cleaning and it's going to get messy. Not a good time to have company over.

I dunno, I kinda like the "AHA!" factor that Action Cards bring. Like, no matter how well you're doing, you always have to wonder what cards the next player has that could turn things around.

Oh sorry MrBody, you can expect me to leave the Rarron and The lucky Lady 2nd/3rd action.
Leaving my ships there is pointless, I just wanted the VP.
If you wanted to attack them of course I have no way to stop you, but just planning wise, no real reason for me to be there.
If you wanted to make some sort of (Trade) deal I could send them back action 1.

Void Slayer, are you declining the play of a Sabotage card on MrBody's Action Card? If that's the case, then MrBody will have the first action of the round, then the normal order will follow.
