I am, but I'm trying to find a site that makes custom shirts in black. Because white shirts are evil and get messy too easily.

Here,http://www.spreadshirt.net/shop.php?sid=188587&affiliate=323541, this is an alright site for them

Best fucking idea ever. You creative creatures! You make me itch and I love to scratch!

I’m totally down for turning downtown Seattle into downtown Hi-5 city in an aquabats sort of a way!

Look for me in the pink and black GNL t-shirt and a ponytail. I will Hi-5 any hand presented to me, even if I’m gaming.

I am in for this madness as well. I know that I'll be able to get the guys I'm going with to be in. I think I might have to go the dangerous route and just be that guy that's holding his hand out fishing for the Hi5.

And the chest bump idea? Brilliant. Look for the guy wearing the green "Body Massage" shirt.

    I'm in with this plan.
    Except JoahW.
For that comment, I will personally make a point of denying you a high five at some point that weekend.

Is there a good general design for an ID T-shirt?

Just have your forum handle on the front. That will be satisfactory. As the progenitor of this thread, I will have the phrase "High Five Your Neighbor" on the front. Anyone else willing to bust this, feel free.

    :(

Alright fine, I'll high five you if you apologize.

Also, I will have several small bottles of instant hand sanitizer for anyone who wants some.
I think I'll have a shirt with my tag on it. Do you guys usually wear the shirts all three days? I think that would get a little gross.

Also, for those of you who are also playing PAXassin, you get extra props from me if you kill someone while high fiving them.

    This is a rocking idea.

I'm curious how long I can go walking around with my hand in the air saying "High Five" to complete strangers before someone asks me if I've lost my helmet.
    This should be a hoot!

Might I make one suggestion though, with ten thousand fan boys all over the place, may I suggest deodorants!! Some of you geek boys stink!

Wait. People seriously don't shower? Or use deodorant? Even body spray?

Good. Freakin'. GRAVY. Maybe I should hit up my favorite soap place and have them hand out samples that weekend to everyone waiting in line. Have them start making PAX Soap on a Rope.

I think part of the problem was an improper understanding of the principle of "just cause I can't smell me doesn't mean you can't smell me." if you're used to being a little slack with personal hygiene, and getting away with it due to a fairly sedate life and lack of physical closeness to others, that slip is going to become painfully obvious in an overly warm room packed with bodies. I don't think everyone clicked that you really ought to shower MORE when you're doing a lot of stuff that makes you sweat, like standing in lines in the August sun, or pushing through crowds of people.

You can lead a nerd archetype to soap, but you can't make him bathe.

Scarily enough, I'm not joking. It's http://www.blisssoap.com/, located on Capitol Hill. While their website is not all that great, their products are amazing. I just don't know what they can do with only two week lead time and 30K people. After all, they make all of their products by hand locally.

Worst case scenario I'm sure I could get some samples and hand them out myself. They also make anti-perspirant/deodorant itself but it might be tough to transport in the heat.

    I'll make some calls.

I thought we weren't allowed to hand things out at PAX unless we paid for the privilege? Something about getting the same thing sponsors are getting for free. I remember someone from some company asked if they could give away crap they didn't want anymore and got shot down, on these very forums.

Yeah, this has come up before. And the policy makes sense.

However, I think an exception for soap could be nice.
