I get there a day earlier. I thought we could share a cab since we are both staying at nap's, but that wouldn't work.

Yeah, chilling at the airport for a day would probably suck. It's all good man.

Oh! I forgot to mention that I got my media badge yesterday!

The info packet that came with is nice as well. PAX seems to be treating press a lot better than most cons, and that's pretty awesome.

It included a tentative schedule of events and holy shit, PAX is packed with stuff. I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to tell since the schedule isn't 100% set in stone yet. Or maybe everyone got these, I dunno.

The map of the exhibition floor looks rad too.

Kudos to Khoo and Karen and all the PAX people working on this. I can't imagine the logistics of bringing something like this together.

    Geek, that's not a for-sure.

I'm still trying to get stuff hammered out.

And I think I'll still have to take you up on that early ride on Monday.

Don't get all snippy with me. :(

Hey is pre-registering worth it at all (ignoring the small difference in cost), or is it like every other expo I've ever been to where the registration line and the pre-registration line are exactly the same length?

Scroll down to the timetable for going to Aurora Village. They're at Aurora & 85th and then you just need to figure out where you're catching the bus. Note of course that not every stop is listed.

Also, for those staying with Nap he's very close to downtown. I don't remember his address but he's up on Capitol Hill and is about a 10 min cab ride from the convention center. Without luggage, it's pretty walkable. About 1.5-2 miles uphill.

You probably got some coordinate wrong. There are a lot of streets in Seattle with similar names but that are differentiated by St. or Ave. and are not that close to each other. Also with compass points, so 98th NE would be very different from 98th S. or just 98th St. I know where he lives and it's like a 20 minute walk from the convention center.
