common blue creatures are usually so disappointing.
I like that blue is bad at creatures, but usually gets big creatures, but i sometimes wish they'd do something more with them outside of big creature with downsides for the price other colours would get them.

i should note one of my favourite blue creatures is the 1/1 wizard for 8 in scourge.
Mostly because i remember rumours "there's a 1/1 for 8! it must be powerful!" nope. it has morph. that's it.
Hilarious.
this guy is still one of my favorite creatures period
he had some uses in-block with the spells that cared about the highest cmc among permanents you controlled, but honestly I like to pretend those didn't exist and he just kinda was there
as an 8-mana 1/1
edit: also his name/flavor text (Scornful Egotist) and the fact that he has been oracled back into being Human
