I don't like how easily everyone jumped on the rainfall wagon. Probably some mafia hiding in there.

It was decided in the morning that dinner tonight would be steak and veggies. And so for the entirety of the day, the village of Wangshire left their usual duties of yelling at one another in indiscriminate rage to go kill some cows and harvest some veggies. Very respectable. A few even slipped out of the veggie garden to go get some bread into the ovens. Yes. Steak and veggies and fresh baked bread. Nothing could be more wonderful than that.
Except, you see, there are no cows in Wangshire Village. There are horses. But no cows. So the steak was a bit gamey. Tough, and rather stringy. But, it was meat and in Wangshire, red meat is truly the thing of the day. And the veggie patches are not the most stellar. In truth, the veggies patches are almost all radishes. As they’re the easiest thing to grow!
So to their meal of horse steaks and radishes and the smell of freshly baked flatbread, the remaining villagers of Wangshire sat down to discuss just what they needed to do. Well they needed to find the invaders, that was for sure. But who? There were a few names tossed out, a few random and a few not so. But nobody could really come to an agreement. And then, the one with the loudest voice speaks up and says “I know the answer!”
And fingers were pointed and before the objections could be raised the gong in the village town center (when did they get a gong?) sounded to signal that it was indeed sunset now. With anticipation, everybody waited. Anxious.
