Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

The reason why he (or anyone) took the drugs doesn't actually matter.

The fact that you are explicitly told it is against the rules does.

    that is the truth

and in addition, if the other top 30+ athletes in the Tour are also on drugs

then there's both personal problems and institutional problems

Cycling attracts genetic freaks, see Big Mig:

And I like to believe that Bradley Wiggins doesn't dope.

The interesting thing about blood boosters like EPO, is that they have less of an effect on guys who are already genetically the most fit. So guys like Lance, who are at a genetic deficit end up being the fastest and strongest.

Also, Mig doped also. That's pretty much established.

It goes all the way back when you're talking about Grand Tours.

Much like in baseball, the difference is that the older guys used amphetamines and things that today we'd sort of have a chuckle about calling "doping." Now its stuff that most of the time doesn't have a name, and is instead referred to by the medical trial ID.

They are an they aren't told it's against the rules. The UCI didn't exactly do much to police their sport as it's athletes got faster and faster for obvious reasons but they happily profited from their actions.

I expect Armstong is going to back after his sports governing bodies pretty hard and we'll find varying instances of complicity among them.

Complicity because he paid them, and various labs who do testing.
