The art for Captain Marvel has been all over the place. I'm not sure why the book has such a rotation for the artists, but I think it's hurt the book a little, despite the overall quality of the art itself.
Launching a new title for a character with a new look without having a consistent style doesn't strike me a good idea anyway.
Probably why no one can agree on Carol's look, too.

All-New X-Men #6, Wolverine and past Cyclops have their first "brawl"
Ultimate Comics Iron Man #4 was a pretty nice conclusion to the miniseries, and great ultimazation of the Mandarin (It is a machine AI that uses humans to do it's dirty work aka the opposite of Tony Stark the man who uses Machines). Rhodes/ War Machine was pretty baller too., and his armor up / battle is the motw for the book.

"Ride or Die?" asked Goku
"Ride or Die" confirmed Dominic Toretto, as they took off to find the Dragon Balls in hopes of reviving their friend Sonic
Speaking of New Avengers, did anyone notice that at least one of the alternate Earths in the two red splash panels near the end of the issue was the DC Universe? Hickman is a glorious bastard.
Hyperion is part of the Squadron Supreme but there have been multiple Hyperions in Marvel history, so there's no way to know where this one is from, he may be a brand new one.
Recommended: The Super Hero Squad episode "Whom Continuity Would Destroy", where Hyperion (Superman), Power Princess (Wonder Woman), and Nighthawk (Batman) show up. Nighthawk is voiced by Adam West.

Goddammit! My wallet...
Fraction and DeConnick are married, so they're bound to influence each other somewhat.
What happens when Iron Man and Hulk have a bet and they both lose?
That's why I love Marvel. You'd never see Batman and Superman walking down the street naked because of a bet, while the Flash takes pictures of them.
Marvel did have that whole registration act and Civil War thing after all.

Cyclops interrupts him mid sentence
yeah but it still reads as a bizarre word choice to me
"I gotta say, seriously" would, I think, fit the character better

because they totally should.
also yeah that is the Squadron Supreme verse duders
which, incidentally, is where Avengers Hyperion is from (I think?)
Saga is really good you guys
They had the... Ultramarines(?) in JLA Classified that were an Ultimates homage.

Everyone should read Squadron Supreme by Gruenwald if they haven't already
It only gets better every single chapter.
You're three chapters behind with the trade.
Imagine how much better it'll be once you catch up.

There was an Ultimates pastiche in Superman/Batman.
I can! I can imagine it!
There's also Lord Havok and the Extremists.
