This is the theme song for the original Street Fighter IV, which they never should have changed, and which is probably the best song you'll ever hear, and which (now that I've listened to it) I must listen to on loop for at least an hour.

Street Fighter IV is the only fighting game I ever got good at. Not like... really good. Certainly not competitive. But it's the game where I learned the core concepts of knowing and understanding range of threat from each character's moves and planning my moves to avoid damage and exploit opponent's weaknesses. I learned how to use combos, and I learned when to use them.
However, playing with a 360 controller and dealing with bandwidth issues became incredibly disheartening.
If my gold account expires (which is happening next month), can I still play multiplayer on the PC version?

this is not an uncommon experience
i feel like decent online play technology has been really good for avoiding this experience because (especially if you start playing at release with a new game) you will encounter a lot more new players, as well as the occasional skilled player, so you can see what it's like to be really good but also have fun against equivalent players
