of another full 1TB hard drive? or multiple backups of the same drive?

If your machine has thunderbolt (it probably doesn't), use thunderbolt.

Otherwise, I'd say USB3. It's not much slower than eSATA and it's possible to get drives that don't need an external power supply.

    Good morning, [chat].

First day in the new house. I like my room setup a lot. Mostly because one wall is almost entirely flat panel screens. I suppose the other walls will need scrublord posters or something.

did you do anything thirty-five minutes ago

I think that's when I got my coffee, but no, no grand schemes came to fruition.

Funerals and memorial services for the norwegians killed in the algerie attack are happening. One still missing, but they're not looking for a survivor at this point.

Should I start Arcanum or Septerra Core next?

Septerra core was cute. Very jrpgish, but basically up your alley I think.

Arcunum was a bunch of interesting ideas trapped in kinda a bad game IMO.

    Hmm... okay. Thanks.

Considering how much they need to be adjusted each day they provide virtually no benefit. I find things like that about as useful as tea leaves for determining how long a project has left.

I wouldn't go over 1.5tb hard drives unless I had a specific application for em, like keeping long term backups of a lot of systems.

I'd be concerned about reliability issues on larger drives if they're frequently being used

I've filled several. When I get a DVD or Blu-ray disc, it is removed from its package, ripped, and then placed back in its package, never to be touched again. Optical media is for the chumpiest chumps.
