Hmmm, the Dutch Queen is heavily rumoured to announce her abdication in an hour. She turns 75 this week. The Netherlands will have a King for the first time in well over a century.
The question remains if he is going to go for William IV or William-Alexander I.

very tasty. like oatmeal just no oats. recipe called for half a banana but I forgot to put it in.

blend, heat, add coconut milk to taste (mine got very dried so I had to add to it)

    recipe please

half cup of the almonds and half cup of pecans, half a banana, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 cup almond milk or coconut milk (no reason you couldn't just use real milk but this particular recipe book avoids milk). Egg is optional.

put it in a blender or food processor (I kept going til it was pretty smooth but you can stop earlier for a crunchier/chunkier meal), then heat, then add more milk for consistency/temperature/taste as desired.

    That's some fine doublethink there.

Determinism in christianity makes a whole lot more sense than the alternative.

I mean at the very least it's a "can god make a rock so heavy he can't lift it" kind of situation.

Well the Free Will part of Christianity was always that God basically gave people the choice and refuses to change that.

Without Free Will Christianity just gets super fucking silly to me. Either you're of the elect and are going to heaven despite all the heroin and hookers or you're not regardless if you try your best to follow the tenants.

if you do all the heroin and hookers you're not going to heaven because the elect don't do the heroin and hookers. Without free will, it's not like people can choose to sin or not.

So much of it comes crumbling down for me when you realize the central rite in Christianity is about forgiveness. So heroin and hookers is fine so long as God decided you were going to repent before death.....just so fucking weird.

It could be. The problem is that the facility is buried pretty deep. It's possible the Israeli's smuggled explosives in but it could also be industrial sabotage. Or it could be Iran fucked up.

I figure if the Israelis were the ones to get it to blow they would probably state it quietly for the political points to help Bibi get his new government more solid.

I am betting it was a quiet fuck up by Iran or nothing really happened.

mine is all making oatmeal out of something else because it's a low carb diet. Doesn't make sense to try to force this into a weight watchers thing when you could probably just get their oatmeal for less points.

say someone tries to illegally cross the mexican border. they run into ICE agents or whatever and are caught. they don't put up any violent resistance.

are there any consequences for that? i mean, i know oftentimes people are held in detention centers or whatever if they're not contiguous to where they're from- coming into florida from cuba, or being deported from kansas or whatever.

but if you're like, right there at the border, caught red handed, is there a 'punishment'? or do they just boot you back over the border.
