So, some jackass hit my roommate's car while I was driving it. He was complete, totaly at fault, but is lying to his insurance company. So if they end up taking his side, I'm fucked and there's no way I'll be able to afford PAX.

    Fucking sweet.

Do you know if pre-registering saves you that time? Because I pre-registered once for a convention in Toronto and the pre-registration line was just as long and slow as the registration line.

    we can't preregister anymore

we'll have to wait it out

    together

(where is khoo to help us out here)

dude keith would you be a fella and if you get there before me and my friend would you totally save us spots
i will pm you my # and everythign and i will love you keith i will snuggle right next to you and call you my little ginger snap

i am too nice a guy to support line cuts
    it's not cuts
cuts is when it's like "oh hey keith i didn't know you were here! let me cut you dawg"

I've got that high of a deductible on my truck

some bitch in a suburban plowed into it when Talon and I first moved up here pushing it into about three other cars, the whole thing completely her fault and she admitted it.

Her insurance company almost fucked us over when we were supposed to go pick up our truck after it was repaired, so we almost had to pay a grand to get our truck back when we sure as hell didn't have that much.

They just barely got it cleared up that her insurance was paying our deductible as well when we came to pick up the truck the next day.

When I totalled my truck I had $100 deductables on everything, I paid more each month, but I didn't really care at that point.

So I was expecting to pay my $100 and have them cover all the fencing, asphalt, road work, landscaping.... all that.

ohh no. State Farm doesn't cover damage to goverment property. I had to pay almost $17,000 in total. Mostly work crews. At the time each person made around $24 an hour. They took 2 weeks to fix everything.

    alright, guys

    with the whole dinner thing

expect that it may come out to $25 to $30 a head

we may be able to change that up by just ordering a few dishes per table, but for large parties they prefer to simplify things by charging a flat fee per head and just serving a shit-ton of food. We'll see what happens when we get there, but if we expect that as a worst-case scenario, then there won't be any unpleasant surprises.

Man I think I'll just go grab some pho at Pho Hoa and if some peeps want to join me that would be cool but it does not have a be a big thing and I'm fine going by myself. I'm not paying $30 for dinner at this point in time, my money is currently stretched too thin.

30 bucks was the price of the buffet in Vegas.

Crab and Prime Rib was the only thing remotely close to worth paying that amount.

    Paris' buffet is better.

Can you please get some clarification on that price? It seems that a lot of people are put off by that cost, and it does seem really high for a place like Buca.
