Why didn't anyone tell me that Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E. was cancelled? I'm going to miss that book.
I might have to start dropping more of DC's titles...
At least Frank's a member of JLDark now, which has been pretty good lately.
Though man, as fun as Frankenstein was, that was a really shitty 'final comic'. A one-shot, earlier in the timeline, filler comic ignoring everything you've had in the last few comics (which you have to read Swamp Thing/Animal Man to find out how it ends) is not how you end a comic.
Fuuuck, In the tie in comic for Injustice, (second hand spoilers)
So Lois and Superman are together in this universe (dont know if married), but she becomes pregnant.
The justice league goes to stop Joker who had kidnapped Lois?, Superman gets there first, and appears to fighting doomsday. Superman takes the fight to space. The justice league get there, Batman discovers Scarecrow's fear toxin laced with Kryptonite. Joker has placed a nuke's trigger with Lois, if Lois dies BOOM. Next scene is shows Supes with Lois in space, and remarks how she and the baby are dead. and the nuke goes off

"Ride or Die" confirmed Dominic Toretto, as they took off to find the Dragon Balls in hopes of reviving their friend Sonic
In April, DC promises a "What the...?!" moment in all their New 52 issues that will leave readers in a state of shock. To keep fans guessing, they've teased out partial covers.
Buzzfeed got exclusive access to the logo that will be blazoned across each issue, guaranteeing it is 100% "WTF Certified."
We also tried to get the inside scoop from DC on plot lines but they're playing it close to vest. The most they were willing to part with was a handful of tantalizing questions to whet our appetites. Can anyone figure out which comic each of these are talking about?
• Booster Gold reappears while an entire team disappears
• One team is trapped in a bottle while another is changed completely
• Some heroes change their colors and other change allegiances
• Pandora battles to the death
• A close encounter of The Dark Knight kind
• There's a new, old Creeper and some old New Gods.
• One hero quits, and another hero dies

God dammit DC, I'm getting tired of defending you every month. It's not even that they're promising big, shocking changes, but that they're actually calling it "wtf" month.
I think I'm going to drop Justice League Dark. Lemire has tons of great ideas and concepts that he's (re)introducing but it all feels so strung along and pointless. Each month it's just a bunch of magic characters and objects showing up for the sake of showing up.

Liefield even said this about DC right now:
I believe when you pick a creative team, you have to let them run — if not, then why did you pick them. The DC thing was just awesome to experience up close and personal. Even with all the leaks from others and all the commentary, even from me, you have NO IDEA how crazy it was. Changes on a 24-hour basis because the corporate directive or the editorial directive woke up in the middle of the night and decided they saw a rainbow. Or a unicorn. Just crazy. And at this point, there’s enough out there that you can’t just write it off or dismiss it. And here’s the deal, I LIKE THOSE PEOPLE. I don’t wish any of them ill. My whack editor is gone, but the rest of them are decent, they are just running a crazy house. It was great fun while it lasted, but I had to get out before the cuckoo-birds laid eggs in my head.
Please let a close encoutner of The Dark Knight kind be Grant Morisson hijacking the plot of Batman Incorporated for a catmandu style alien abduction issue.
Also, the Injustice thing is dumber than I ever imagined.
Superman has cause to hate the Joker. Superman gives up his normal rules.
Remind me, how is the Joker not a big red smeer on the ground stretching across fifty state lines? Don't tell me. I'm betting it's even dumber than I'm thinking.
I'll be honest, I forgot that Stormwatch was even a thing after being phenomenally not interested in it after the first issue or two. Too bad, since I'm a big fan of the Authority, and wanted to see how those characters fared in the New52 universe.
Is the series actually good? What's happening in it?

We're getting a better Midnighter costume and a worse Apollo
It has gone through so many directional changes that I doubt it has any clear voice by now.
Cornell had a solid pitch but I didn't really like the actual issues, then from what I saw Milligan did pretty much nothing interesting with them and now Starlin is on it and that dude is pretty terrible nowadays.
Well, I liked Mystery in Space.
And absolutely nothing else he has written since then.
So it looks like Starlin is killing off Stormwatch in issue 19 and replacing them with....
Another version of Stormwatch.
Wow.
No way they're actually dead. Not only are they leading up to them in team 7, they wouldn't kill of two of their bigger gay characters. It's going to be an obvious fake out and then DC will announce Authority later this year.
Edit: fuck, I totally didn't notice the other Apollo and midnighter standing right next to them. I guess they're clones or something. Gay clones
I like the Raven feathered cloak and covering her face gives her an other worldlier look, which fits the character. But the feather mask and body suit need to go.

Hopefully I, Vampire gets a better ending.

Can Superman just get a break sometimes?
I do wonder what they're going to do with New Guardians now that Kyle's mastered the whole spectrum.

I write about video games and stuff. It is fun. Sometimes.
Managed to make it three whole issues, before a teenager exploded.
Tumblr Twitter
what on Earth
that looks less like a human being exploding and more like someone popped a balloon filled with strawberry jam and giant-size Red Vines
What the what?
How is that entertaining to people?

But they're trying.

Raven's New 52 look:
Still, can I say now that that is atrocious.
I kinda liked that mini and was hoping he wouldn't show up in Titans.
It's probably someone similar to Solstice
