    What are you studying?

    Team management.

Big book, lots of stuff that I should know but can't really cite...

I do it in one-hour increments. Put your computer away (or get away from it), and say, "I will read/study this book for one hour." If you have lots of notes already, read those over and over for that hour, pausing to repeat the information in your head when you're not looking at it. Take a break, then do another hour.

But my notes are on my computer. D:

Are you male? Then don't worry, this is a common problem. While the night before an exam is not the ideal time to try and work out your learning style(s), there are a couple of things that will help.

Basically, at this late stage your best bet is to make a poster of some kind. This means that you can incorporate a variety of learning styles such as summarising and writing the information, colours and different ways of presenting the info (can you depict some stuff using pictures and/or diagrams?) and then by looking over what you have made you can also utilise visual learning.

    K, i'll try that. Thanks. :)

A bit slow since I actually have work today but
    A) Composite Faces are hot.
    B) We had the light gun, 2 controllers, and mario/duckhunt combo. And we wound up having like 20+ games for me which is way more than I owned on any other consoles (Besides PC) We have this big blue/yellow/red carrying case you could put everything in as well.
And a large wood/metal storage cube that was Mario/Zelda themed.

    Bless your heart.

I always last minute studied by condensing everything I needed to know onto a 1 page cheatsheet

you don't actually have to cheat by bringing it in with you

but it's small enough to memorize and recreate on a piece of scrap paper once the exam starts

ODST is nothing like Halo. It's another kind of shooter in the Halo universe, so you may like that.

Can't cite anything atm 'cos it's been years since I looked at this stuff, but it's one of the reasons why in UK GCSEs girls started to look to do significantly better when they introduced coursework - basically, guys were very good at exams where they had to just regurgitate stuff they had been told in class and girls were better at stuff which required significant study and research during a sustained period (obviously this is all extremely general and does not necessarily apply in individual cases).

senior year of high school i had an "independent study" AP comp sci class

where basically i just showed up to the computer lab where the dude was teaching his normal intro to java or whatever and he'd give me a coding assignment

teacher was actually a pretty cool dude who just unfortunately didn't have a whole lot of spare time for me, so the assignments were often game related

i remember i was coding chess in java one day when we had a substitute and she came over while i had the graphical interface up and started yelling at me for playing games during class. after like the third time of trying to explain that, hey im actually doing work here i just got up and walked right out. bah.
