So this past week I had the opertunity to play the ios app "SPACETEAM" and it was amazing. My question is anyone interested in joining a space team at pax east this year?

Not sure if I would be in for a meet up since it depends on what my group is doing, but this is a great idea and I tweeted the handheld lounge account about maybe setting up a tourney for this.

You know my friends and I were talking about a tournament. Great minds think alike. It's just polishing over the rules.
It could be as simple as "which team makes it further in space" but there is also a tally of team accomplishments at the end. And each accomplishment can give you points or negate points depending on if it is positive or negitive.

Space Team will be the line game of PAX East 2013. My only concern is for the amount of Space Team being played there will likely be some very confused orders being made to each other...

I have Spaceteam downloaded, but don't have anyone local I can play with

I can't wait to get to PAX East to start playing...maybe get some practice in a Pre-Pax Gaming night (assuming this is a thing again this year.)

I am not sure if I should be worried or even more excited. Also I agree (and hope) that this should be THE app to have for East 2013.

Showed the game off to a few friends tonight and it was pretty fantastic.

Really hope there is a tourney of some sort.

Does anyone know if an android version of this game will be coming out? I was at a game night with the local reddit meetup and a group of them were all playing...it was hilarious listening to them - I needs this on android!

Well the game can't be played without other people so it wold need to be team based. The max number of players is 4 and playes best with that number. So I hope it will be teams of 4.

So not sure who has seen the new update but they just added deterministic mode (great for competitions) witch lets you and your team pick a number from 1 to 2 million and any other team that picks that number will have "a disturbing similar space adventure." Which will be good for a comp at pax!

That and up to 8 people on a mission now.
