Graphic Card Recommendations

Looking to purchase a new graphics card. I'm trying to get one for around $300 that will let me run Skyrim at maxed settings on a 46' screen.
Current setup is:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
Dual Core 2.0 GHz processor
4.1 GB Ram
800W PSU - 2 +6 pins
Win 7 Pro 64 bit
1TB HD + 500GB secondary HD
Currently using an GE Force 8400 GS

Might focus on a new Mobo too. But if I don't have to, then all the better.

Steam: kaylesolo1
3DS: 1521-4165-5907
PS3: KayleSolo
Live: Kayle Solo
WiiU: KayleSolo

No graphics card will let you run Skyrim maxed. Your CPU will bottleneck you.

You should be able to easily build a system for $600-700 or so that will run Skyrim on high, if not maxed, assuming you don't run a ton of hardware-intensive mods for it. Assuming you can do stuff like re-using a copy of Windows, have a display you want to keep, etc.

Come on over to the PC build thread, you will get all the guidance you need.
