Just went to a black history month presentation at the highschool my sister volunteers at
most of the groups were pretty decent, I learned about the history of ancient nubian civiilization and the african diaspora and the global spread of hip hop
and after all the other groups had finished there was one more presentation by a lone pasty looking white kid with a pony tail
and it was about anime
he had slides and everything:
a·nime
/ˈanəˌmā/
Noun
Japanese movie and television animation, containing material too complex and mature to be shown in lesser Western Animation.
a·nime lo-ver
/ˈanəˌmā ˈləvər/
Noun
One who is well-versed in the art of anime. Sometimes derided as otaku, these true fans have dedicated themselves to all aspects of anime.

They actually exchanged a lot of culture with Egypt, and they had a pretty comparable level of technological advancement, until the sahara started to expand again and they lost their grazing lands.
technically it was a "culture" month celebration, which was deemed more inclusive
I thought the whole point of it was to give a historically oppressed culture the spotlight as a way of making up for lost time. I suppose I can see why a school would change it, but still.
hey @crwth
do you think this means the fox will also get its yang back
also The First is so strong that he can resist The Snake's control????
the first is real cool and the snake is not
What is your opinion about finally getting to see the epic historical battle that defined their village after hearing everyone and their dad talk about it?

Whiny white rights activists cry "where's white history month!?" so they whittle down black history month from the farse it already was into something less to appease them. It's especially galling since there's already History months for other cultures/races later in the year but they're basically ignored.

I remember reading about how white archaeologists in nubia, modern day Sudan couldnt deal with the idea that black people had made pyramids too and tried coming up with a plethora of bullshit theories to explain it
