I just kind of expected that the seers would keep it together, considering their roles.
Given their characters, I expected exactly the opposite.
Rose has never once kept it together in a constructive manner. Ever.

That's a good point. I think Rose has changed a lot, but I guess I need to remind myself that going god tier doesn't somehow magically solve all your problems.
So Dave and Karkat are basically moirals now, right?
Dave is the totally chill and mellow one, who is demonstrably balancing out Karkat who is being an overdramatic spaz just like always.
I'm not seeing it, primarily because the examples of moirals before have had the potential to be destructive to others. I'm not seeing Karkat slay anybody that hasn't messed with his friends.

Maaan, Rose has drinking problems, Terezi has Shitty Life Decision problems, Gamzee and Karkat are no longer bros, everyone and everything I care about in Homestuck is falling apart! Thank god the Mayor's okay, he may be the only thing holding this whole story together now (depending on what John is up to).
Seriously, though, I think it speaks pretty well to what Hussie's done that I care so much about all these horrible revelations. Also Dave's speech about John and Jade and Karkat and friendship was great. Really liking the conversation in general, actually. Dave+Karkat is a great friend!ship.
