So.....
You have been to encounter groups that don't have women awkwardly watching or attempting to join in?
Is it wrong of me to talk to these women instead of trying to join the game?

I played in a 3.5 campaign using Fantasy Grounds, I'm sure my license information is still floating around my desk
We would do all IC chat and actions in the client, while hanging out and chatting about whatever in teamspeak. It's a cool program, but it requires a lot of the GM. They have to figure out all of the functions and upload/stat out their stuff to make use of everything. It's pretty sublime once it's going though. You get to pick the color of your dice and physically roll them around. There's a fancy combat tracker with initiative and everyone's status. The GM can upload pictures for everyone to see and draw/place grids on them. S/he can hit a button that turns your screen dark or a different color for atmosphere.
I still have the fantasy that I might one day get to know a group of people online and play a long virtual tabletop/skype campaign. It seems like a potentially great way to play the game!
The problem I have when playing with my local friends is that we inevitably lose momentum within 10 sessions, so we never really get anywhere.

I think there's a shoulder-mounted weapon of some kind as a warforged component and that could be added to a minotaur with the self-forged paragon path?

super rough but they're also the first things i've ever painted ever. there's also touch-ups i've done since, like fixing the destroyer's ax, doing a darker metallic for the flats of the axes to offset the shiny edge, and doing the black trim on the juggernaut
I have a possible thing going on over here with a fourth edition game
The GM is not allowing warforged, but I can be a kobold artificer
I should take the self-forged path and a laser pistol
Become a pulp sci-fi action hero
Miss me? Find me on:

Man I need to buy some warmachine. Such nice figures
oh man lemme sell warmachine to you
"warmachine fucking owns and is incredibly simple to play and you can be imperial russia with steampunk robots or super catholics wielding holy fire or elves but fuck elves OR you can play hordes and be dragon ninjas or scottish trolls or elephants"
i have probably 300 dollars of khador (the one i linked that's painted), mostly infantry/casters, with a couple heavy 'jacks for good measure, another 100-150 of Legion of Everblight (dragon ninjnas) and then just the contents of the two-player box for my menoth (fist-pumping supercatholic robot)
basically, all of the rules that you need are in the Gamma World base set
it's a simplified version of 4e that works on its own.
However, I find that the Rules Compendium is an excellent resource for D&D 4th Edition, D&D Essentials, and Gamma World alike. It explains basically everything, even if it does have way more rules in it than what is used in a normal game of any of the three.
Hey, if Stilts picked you for the group, you should send me a description of your character and a background (or questions about background if you're not very familiar with Eberron). You probably already posted it somewhere before but I don't really want to go digging if I can cajole you into sending it to me directly. You should also start thinking about:
-How long you've been a member of The Extraordinaries.
-What your last mission together was.
-Where you are now, three months after that mission.

neg their shoes
should I go for one crossbow for sniping purposes
or two hand crossbows for style
my character does have a background as a sniper, but it is in a city setting...
hmm

Plus a shoulder-mounted ballista.
but I'm running out of feat space, unfortunately
definitely want to do the sniping thing
but I can trade out a standard crossbow proficiency dual hand crossbows
yeah, okay, the second definitely looks more ridiculous with a minotaur
going with that

I think this is actually possible

also joints.
Self-forged is an Artificer paragon path.
So it'd be a long-con.
I discovered that you can basically use it as a Google Doc for your map.
You don't own property, Uriel
spoilered in case nobody wants to see a fist-pumping robopope
"come at me bro, i'll fuckin smite your ass"
easily my favorite thing i've assembled yet
There is a loan for this trailer and my name is on it.
That's as close as I get...
i'm super lucky that i have paid maybe 20 bucks for all of my models, and i have multi-hundreds of dollars' worth now
get owned nublords

I suck at painting myself. I lost all my old pictures though so gimme a minute and I will show you one of my jacks.
