    Typically yeah. And you could preload the Beta too. Not sure why they aren't preloading this time.

    Well, now I feel smart for ordering a boxed copy.

    Eh, I'll just download it during work on the day it releases and play it when I get home.

    I hope to do this myself. Either before work or run home at lunch and set it to download if I am unable to before work. Or if they would unlock it at 12AM EST then I could set it to download before bed even. Since the Beta was all in PST time though, that's probably not likely.

    Yeah just wake up 10 minutes earlier than you normally do for work and then run the download. I'm taking Friday off to play it all day >.>

    Well.... its like steam. you put a disk in, and then it asks for your origin information, and key, and then it goes to the internet to install the 0-day everything. discs for steamworks/origin are coasters now(I am pretty sure)

    I had Skyrim on disc, and I'm pretty sure it installed it from the disc.

    Also, though there is no preloading, the PR dude for SimCity tweeted that it'd be unlocking at Midnight EST, so, that's something.
