Oh, I never said don't read it. I merely said don't buy it. I had a friend who would buy books when we were minutes from a giantic dang library, and he didn't just want them the night before essays were due. He coulda had so much beer moneys.
Oh.
Yes, books are expensive. Very expensive. It's kind of sad.
It's kind of good in a way because I'm an aspiring writer myself, so I'm glad there's a real industry there, but 30 dollars for a new book is a little fucking stupid in my opinion, and many OLD books aren't even on 7-8 dollar paperback, you have to buy a 15-dollar trade paperback.

1.) okay, buy the curse of lono illustrated edition (it is huge and beautiful and only 30 dollars).
2.) find the whalestoe letters so you can continue the danielewski experience after house of leaves
3.) i'm on my annual borges fix right now, so pick up the collected fictions if you're into that fantastic mind bending postmodern shit

Right now I am reading a book called 'Meg' about a 60 foot long Megalodon shark that eats people. This is litertainment at its best.
I read that when I was around 14.
That shark kicked so many asses.
There's three more sequels I have to read now too. And apparently they're making a movie...
Sweet.
Fuckin' shark. Eating people, trying to bring down helicopters.
Apparently in the fourth book they find some thing that eats the sharks. I can't figure out what prehistoric animal they're referencing, but as long as it eats people I don't care.

Best site ever
Funny, people recommend that same site to me here over and over! The URL keeps changing, but same content.

It also has a picture of a shark eating a Trex on the cover.

How long do we have?
Well I don't think they'll find us here, its pretty high traffic, but the natives might kick us out soon.
I even have a free, unread copy of World War Z
and about 20 other books
I mustn't go book shopping
Especially when the Americans wake up and suddenly 200 people register on the forums at the same time and this thread gets 10000 pages in an hour.
