Hitting up the Westin from like 7-9 on Friday, because there's no less than 3 events going down that night that only require you being there or a badge. After that, the Protomen.

Saturday is the Curse party, which Ill stick around for swag and drinks and then hit the convention to play Dreamcast for a few hours while buzzed.

This is my first PAX, in fact it is my first convention of any kind ever, and I'm trying to make the most of it. Turns out I registered for more event then I can go to unless i finish my clone machine in time. Which of the following parties do you guys recommend?

    Thursday:
PAX East "Made in MA" or Pre-PAX East 2013 Bar Crawl?

    Saturday:
For Saturday I want to go to the Elder Scrolls party, and I will also go to the Sanshee Block Party since I paid for it. Now the problem is, I also want to go to the IGN meet and greet and Curse's party. How do people make such hard decisions!?

Decisions can be hard when it comes to partying. Personally, I go to whichever one starts first and let alcohol guide me.

Thurs: "Made" is more of a industry thing, but the Poke-pub crawl may cost you more. So go w/ that.

Friday Sanshee and Curse is my pick.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Curse party requires an RSVP (which is free) and is also a very long line. I'm checking out the Curse party, but may end up at Sanshee if it's just too crowded for my liking. There is also a shindig at the W for Undead Labs; their forum says the "W in Boston," but he probably means Westin. The W is a completely different hotel by the Theater District. Probably needs some clarification, as I'm just making the assumption that it's the Westin

*EDIT: @agreatrandom has verified that it is indeed the W Hotel, not the Westin

Is there crowd surfing & dancing/ "friendly" moshing at these shows?

Last year, while the show was great, the crowd was probably the most boring crowd I've ever been around at a concert. The reason why I am skipping concerts this year.

Glad I am not the only one who thought that I loved the music but yeah the crowd was kind of boring. No one seemed into it.

W Hotel for Undead Labs definitely means the W Hotel downtown, not the Westin

How about we save the rhetoric about who is or isn't allowed in and their personal qualities for somewhere else. It really has no place here.

I really wanted to go to that tonight, but I'm spending time with my son before I'm MIA from Friday-Sunday. Let me know how that goes, because it sounded really fun. Drink a cold one for me!

Is anyone going to the Curse party and then driving back toward Davis Square after who'd be willing to carpool? I'd like to go but the cab fare back would be obscene.

People laying on the floor in the middle of the room during a CONCERT is unacceptable to me. If you don't want to stand and jump and move, move to the back. Was so annoying two years ago, that I've been turned off since.

This is not a knock at all, but people, PLEASE pay attention to the dress code. There have been many... issues in the past with the Royale because people ignored the dress code. They will turn you away! I just don't want to see any unhappy PAXers! <3

anyone know if I will be allowed to bring my backpack in to Curse? I've got no where to store it while I go if not....also I know the ticket says print ticket but I don't have a printer. Do they just scan the barcode? If so I can show them my phone...
