Anyway, yes he did. It was apparently a completely "reimagining" of his origin, and it looks ridiculous. On the bright side, the Amazon page has links to collections that remind me that Dr. Strange has been written by some amazing people over time.

Ya I may not be a big JMS fan, but the writer of that article needs to take a deeeeep breath.

Seriously. JMS is kind of a douche, and some of his stuff sucks, but he wrote some damn solid material for Marvel.
Dr Strange "The Doctor Is In" and "The Oath" were the books that got me into comics

Morlun was fine, Ezekiel was fine. Haven't read Sins Past and won't, The Other wasn't great but it led to Scarlet Spider so that's aces in my book, and the 9/11 issue came from a good place even if it was executed tremendously poorly.

Also, the writer may want to do a little research if he wants his long-winded rants to be taken seriously. In the first 5 seconds I looked at it, I saw:
11. Rising Stars is a total ripoff of The 4400 and Heroes
Which is quite a feat since RS predates both by at least 5 years.
Anyway, someone post more awesome Dr Strange moments!

It's pretty obvious by the end that he's being sarcastic or just satirizing generic fanboys.
But the problem is that the escalation of nuttiness is haphazard and most people don't get to the end.

Back in Black was fine, but Sins Past, Morlun, The Other, Ezekial, the 9/11 issue were all so bad.
I disagree. Ezekial was fine, and while Morlun wasn't great, he wasn't bad anyway. The 9/11 issue was just a product of the times. Really, JMS' run on Spidey was great up through the end of the Ezekial story arc. After that, things went to hell.
JMS Spider-Man got me reading Spider-Man again for the first time in ages. The first couple of arcs were pretty great and JR jr art was still really good

i've said it before, i'll say it again and again, i miss the Defenders
Sigh. I still have to buy vol 2 as a trade. The first half is so good though and I wish i'd been back reading books when it started. Even though it wouldn't change anything i could have at least felt like i was helping

Why on Earth would I ever go there?
I was about to say "because it fucking sucked what is wrong with you" but now I think I'm confusing it with the JMS one.
But this is kind of funny, yet also really stupid.

I do credit JMS for making MJ and Peter Parker a meaningful couple again, and not just having MJ be smoking (literally) eye candy from the 90's.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and JMS made Aunt May awesome for the first time ever.

He was lying, he just said that to keep Rulk from thinking he was going to jerk off to the sound of his voice later.
So, what four words did he say?

Well, I am a horrible person. So probably.
