On the one hand, I now know pretty much what to fix the next time I run a Phalla

On the other hand, oh god I never want to run a Phalla again

I'm still going to do the Departed game. But that one's going to be a ton simpler than this.

But you guys are seriously the best players I could have asked for

As much as I would have loved to actually play in this, I had almost as much fun watching all of you play

    You guys are so awesome

After Shankill's starts I'll be co-hosting two and hosting one.

    All at the same time.

    How's that for complicated? :P

My inbox is going to hate me.

I believe the order of controlling:

    Turn one:
    Bogey, Critical, and Squashua

    Turn two:
    Drijen, Shankill, Rane

    Turn three:
    AkimboLegs, Meister, Kovak

    Turn four:
Nuzak, Scarlet Ave., "iamtheaznman" (didn't go through cause Embarkation was killed)

    Turn five:
    Goliath, "real_pochacco" (guarded)

    Turn six:
    Scarlet st., FreeAgent

    Turn seven:
    Qorzm, precisionk

    Turn eight:
    SojakFA, PotU

    That was it, right?

obviously arod, shen, drcongo, and embarkation were originals.

If mine is next, I'm going to need to wait until around the first Sunday after August 30th.

If someone else wants to go first that is quite alright.

Hylian, the offer for your aid still stands, and given the village aspect, I'd love help in sending out role PMs and, of course, dealing with tallys and any issues that arise.

Mine is very loosely based on The Stand.

Nope. That's why I did this one, because it'll be a while before I can run another.
EDIT: If Bogey says I can, then I will, because it should go fast enough.

Green, I wanted to apologize a bit. I think I was too harsh when I was complaining about balance issues. I know it's hard to balance them, and honestly, this was the most enjoyable phalla I've played in. I think the atmosphere and setting were absolutely perfect, and these were the best written narrations, they really captured the mood perfectly.

    Cheers.

    sweetness.

Like I said, I'm going to need a short delay, but I'm typing up role PMs and the first narration right now, so when the times comes I'll be ready.

Man, this was a fun one, even though I didn't make it to the end (although I'm sort of glad I didn't, since I'd probably end up a slimy space communist).

    That sounds hot, Ramen.

Also, well done, Yeerks. You guys had some brilliant players on your side. Congrats. :^:

And the narrations were fantastic, especially the final one. Always nice to see some hope, even in a bad outcome.

    Nah, it's all good

I didn't realize how badly the imbalance was until Jake and Ellimist just started Guarding each other every day

I actually just spent most of that day wondering how I was going to nerf Jake, but once I saw he was going to kill Crayak it all fell into place

    ah, ok. that makes sense.

haha we know all the roles, don't we? I just want to know the order in which Yeerks were controlled, how many you got a night, etc.

real_pochacco, I was only evil the last day.

About the same time you were absorbing my non-existent powers they were sliding a slug into my ear.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much the last couple of days but things have been busy.

Anyway, congrats to my fellow Yeerks and good game all. Thanks again to Green and Wiggin, this was so much fun.

Yeerk board has been unlocked and can be found here: http://vthree.myfastforum.org/index.php

Regarding the next Phalla, we might take a break because of PAX then have Shank do his. I'll have to think about stuff and talk to him about this later.

Even if not for PAX, I strongly suggest taking a break. Between Neville's and this one (and the frightening amount of inactivity in this one) I think people are getting a bit burnt, and if we hold off for a bit people will be hungering for more instead of feeling the grind of starting the paranoia all over again.

    Possibly after PAX.
And Shank, I don't want to co-run anytime soon. The only thing I want to run right now is the Departed one, because I know the source material. The Stand is something I've never read, so I wouldn't want to try and run something with no idea of how shit worked.

Well trust me, mine only uses the Stand as inspiration. It's more of a "disease ravaged landscapes are cool" than "Stephen King book". I'll try to toss in some references to King in the narration (and trust me when I say there are a few references in the pre-game for the players who are well-versed enough to look) but it will be an entirely King-independent Phalla.

I was surprised earlier today when I got converted and got access to the Yeerk forums. I managed to pretty much fly under the radar the entire time. They pretty much chose me for conversion at random. Woooo

Wiggin, Green, much love for you guys, seriously. It was fun even just being a villager most of the game. Every morning when I woke up I was afraid to log in to see I had been converted. And it was always a treat to read the narrations ^_^
