holy shit I literally read this for the first time, exactly a week ago.
had anyone seen the Reanimator movie?
or has everyone just seen the song and nothing else?
I'd be dying to know if its terrible trash or worth a laugh.
In the comic Planetary / Authority - Ruling the World a thinly veiled parody of Lovecraft makes an appearence, believing the eggs of strange other-dimensional creatures he found to be "negro eggs"
Are you fucking kidding me? The Dreams in the Witch House Masters of Horror was terrible. Like all Lovecraft adaptations it was bound to fail. I had my hopes high on that one though, dunno why.
Trust me, my Rats in the Walls movie will not fail. It will be epic win.
Tostitos on
The internet gives me a native +2 bonus in Craft (Disturbing Mental Image).

I'll give you a chance, you would have to deliberately try to make a worse adaptation than most of what has been done.
I want to go at it from the 'Event Horizon' angle. Movie picks up after the Heir, renovating the priory/castle, has vanished. (and gone totally sam neil)
There is so much more at work there beyond the supernatural rats. The rats are just a SYMPTOM.

It is the same director who did Re-Animator so you are probably retarded if you expected it to be any different.
i dunno guys I did hear in my research that he didn't really, die, he finally gave in to the Illuminati, who work together with Cthulu cults to bring about the great chaos and enslave mankind. He tried to warn everyone about them through his writings but eventually he gave in and decided to join them and then they faked his death.

Yeah I'm pretty fucking retarded thinking it could be anything but crap.
(and to hell with you dongloaders, reanimator was awesome)
also the call of cthulhu silent film is the tits
Dagon had pretty cool atmosphere until the end. The end was so pedestrian.
He also did From Beyond, which wasn't totally terrible...
Aside from that, Night Gallery did an episode based on Pickman's Model that was decent. Vincent Price did Charles Dexter Ward with Lon Chaney Jr., but that was pretty... uh... Vincent Pricey. Boris Karloff did Colour out of Space and Dreams in the Witchhouse, but I haven't seen them and am not even sure if they're on DVD.
If you guys want to see The Rats in the Walls fail pretty hard, check out Necronomicon(though the movie does have its moments, maybe 3 minutes of them total).
Posts
it will have a shoggoth cake
Edit: !!
The Innsmouth look is the bulgy-eyes look that half-human, half-deep one hybrids have.
. . .
I also hear he killed Lord Dunsany in a duel and he never said why
it has 16 of his stories.
I read The Vault because it's short.
Fuckin awesome.
I'd go.
I wish I had it

That has to be done perfectly and if done perfectly it will be the most epic horror movie visual of all time.
Only recently have I gotten over the mind-numbing terror that went through me then to read any more of his stories.

Aye.

that's not his real grave he is not in there
I made a TD for iphone and windows phone!

I think I liked the second Reanimator a lot more than the first. Although the first did have the line:
No, see, I love Re-animator very much. I was just saying that if he expected it to be of high caliber there was something wrong.

And The Dunwich Horror...
Man...
one of my friends has that shirt
(i think he got it at hot topic, more's the pity)
it was bad
the stuart gordon masters of horror one?
i really liked the first part of it, with the creepiness and the non-euclidian geometry and such
then the rat guy shows up and everything gets ridiculously hilarious and then it just gets boring and bad
like that stupid rubber knife
every scene that had that knife, i just giggled through because the blade keeps going BOING BOING BOING and flopping around
Well, if I have to go there to buy it, I guess I will. I don't like to, but that's worth it (most likely).
went around, shopped, bought sam and max and trompe le monde
went home
played sam and max, it was awesome
watched kung fu hustle, it was a fun kung-fu flick
played bioshock demo, holy shit
time to pop in trompe le monde
sorta
(listen to subbacultcha really quick)
