You find yourself in a strange place, unsure of how or why you arrived here. You vaguely recall signing your name to something long ago, but the memory is fleeting and distant and you are unable to hold onto it long enough to recall the memory in full. Suddently, a voice intonates.
"Greetings and welcome to the Karma Temple. You have been selected for Digital Devil Phalla Experiment Mk II which will commence momentarily. While the internal processes are being written, please take a moment to peruse the guidelines and rules specific to this experiment on the console in front of you."
Suddenly, the large spire in the center of the room springs to life, and the terminal in front of you begins scrolling data:
Citizens of the Junkyard, welcome to the Karma Temple. Upon arrival, your internal structures have been rewritten and you have been infused with Atma. You now each have strengths and weaknesses as befit your Atma, but your goals are unchanged from what they always were: destroy your enemies, devour the other clans, and reign supreme over the Junkyard.
“Note, Citizens, that upon activation of your Atma, an anomaly was detected in Karma Temple routine $A_N which may cause destabilization and have dire effects on both the Karma Temple and the outlying Junkyard. Please return here each night and input your query results; we will investigate the most popular query request and will provide data regarding that target the following day. Thankfully, the process that lead to three anomalies in the previous experiment has been resolved. This is a new process and a new anomaly, but there is only one."
You recall a strange light that appeared only hours earlier, and you now feel a stirring deep within you, as if the Karma Terminal’s words have triggered something inside you. It only takes moments, but your eyes flash with a new hunger and your primal desire for supremacy has overridden all other impulses...

Rules, short version:
- Don’t share role PM information in the thread or privately.
- No images.
- No abstentions; individuals with a private attack must use it every night. All participants must vote every night.
- You are not allowed to vote for yourself.
- You must have at least two on-topic content-filled posts per game day.
- All voting and actions must be in by 10PM EST every night.
- Vote using the following syntax: query: Drez and retract using the syntax: retract: Drez.
- All actions occur simultaneously.
- Victory is achieved if your clan exists and no other clans do.
- Narration/Results for each day will indicate attack attempts and failures and will reveal the clan affiliation of any dead participants. No other data will be revealed.
- Please PM me if you would like clarification on a rule or mechanics or anything. I will clarify the info for the thread if necessary.
- You may make one goodbye post if you die, but no more than that.
- Dead players may not converse with active participants on any game-related matters.
- IF YOU ARE NOT A GAME PARTICIPANT, DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD!
Other information and rules
- Narration/Results for each day will indicate attack attempts and failures and will reveal the clan affiliation of any dead participants. No other data will be revealed.
- Agi = fire attack, Bufu = ice attack, Zio = lightning attack, Zan = wind attack. All of these have equivalent potency in terms of this phalla.
- There are no "opposite affinities." Fore example, someone may be able to nullify both Agi and Bufu, and an attack ability in either does not necessarily suggest a weakness in the other.
- That said, no one has an attack ability that also matches their elemental weakness.
- All individual abilities MUST be used EVERY night and MUST be sent BY the individual. NO proxy ability PMs allowed via clan or otherwise. Failure to use an action will result in eradication.
- The gender of your character is irrelevant for the purposes of this experiment.
- Everyone not in your clan is your enemy. Of course, the enemy of your enemy…
- Action order: Protections trump all other actions and elemental attacks trump devour attempts. Otherwise, all actions are simultaneous.

Maybe I should read up on the source material.
Clarification: I see stuff about the 4 elements, and attacks, but how do I use them? I don't see anything about it in the rules. Do I send a PM, or is it public? I'm confused.
- Attack abilities are private actions. PM them to this account.
- The clans role PMs I sent out had all abilities on the one PM. The roles I indicated only attribute to the person attributed to that role. Yes, you ALL received the correct PM, but not everything on the PM relates to you individually.
