Looking for comments on my adaptations of John Hodgman's This Day in Ragnarok

I've set up a tumblr, this-day-in-ragnarok.tumblr.com, where I'm trying to work my way through the calendar of the last year of Ragnarok. I'm nearly finished with January, but I'm looking for thoughts.

I feel I've been a bit too 'sketchy' with many of them, but I'm looking to capture a sort of Mignola feel.

nothing much constructive to say, but I'm really enjoying these and you've got a good thing going on. Sometimes the lighting is a bit confusing, but I know it's hard when working with stark black and white to bring out the appropriate forms and details.

Yeah, it's not remotely my normal style, so I'm definitely having issues with it. Some (like the steampunk football one) seem to come together better. I'm still trying to figure out the 'DNA' (as it were) of Mignola's style. Still, it's a fun exercise. Glad you like it, thanks.
