Jordyn, I had a friend watch Heart of Ice to try and get him in to the DCAU however he thought it was not that good. What are some good DCAU-introduction episodes?
I may not be Jordyn and I don't know much apart from Batman of DCAU, but the episode "over the edge" from Batman is quite special

Honestly, if you want to start him with Batman, choose a TNBA episode. The animation is a lot sleeker. Don't get me wrong, the animation in B:TAS is good too, but can sometimes look a bit dated.
Really though, I think it would be best to just start with Justice League. Preferably something from the second season, or skip right to JLU if he's not up for 2-parters yet.
What does he know about DC? Anything?

Thanks Jordyn, but that was my main reason for not doing JL, the two parters, and JLU cos a fair number of the best episodes are part of an arc. I just picked Batman cos he doesn't know that much about DC and I figured everyone knows Batman but not as many know the JLU characters so well. But yeah he said Batman looked too dark so whatever :P

Heart of Ice is my absolute favourite. In fact just Mr Freeze in general.

So I recently read Justice League: A New Beginning, and wanted to get the next trade The Gospel of Maxwell Lord or somesuch. However the prices for it on Amazon range from like 100$ to 260$. That is craziness for a single trade, I hate when there are things I want to read that I can't get. I've got Formerly Known As and I Can't Believe It's Not trades to read, though, thanks to recommendations on here.

After Graviton was breaking out of the Triskelion and kicking ass on the rest of the Avengers, including smashing Logan through the wall of the prison, pinning Cap to the ground and breaking some of spider-man's ribs.
So I recently read Justice League: A New Beginning, and wanted to get the next trade The Gospel of Maxwell Lord or somesuch. However the prices for it on Amazon range from like 100$ to 260$. Thank you Jordyn I had not thought of Wild Cards for some reason, that's one of my preferred Justice League episodes I have to say. That and Legends I think it's called.
MTV interviewed actor Ryan Reynolds about all the swirling rumors around a film featuring DC's pantheon. "I don't really know how much I'm allowed to talk about that stuff," Reynolds said. "But I'm sure they'll figure out something. It's no secret that they have a 'JLA' script and it's a project that's in development -- the contents of which, who knows. We'll see."

In the rumored script Flash is Barry Allen.
Reynolds would be an excellent Wally. Barry? Not so much.
