So, I didn't get a PS3. I stayed pretty ho hum on Sony the entire last generation. But at this point my ticker is very very far into PS4 country its not even funny.
Shit, I had a PS3 before getting a 360, and I pretty much jumped ship, XBL Gold subscription and all. I'm more than willing to go back to Sony, though. They WERE gaming f to me after my SNES.
Space capes alone tempts me. So wait, PS+ will give me a free game a month for subscribing?

Yeah, usually 3 PS3 games and 2 Vita games a month. But then there's also the ones that are on PS+ for a year (XCOM, Uncharted 3 and LBP Karting on PS3, Uncharted GA and Gravity Rush on Vita).
So wow, that sure was a killer conference. They murdered Microsoft at every corner.
I'm totally fucking sold on a PS4, but I do think they do deserve some shit for totally throwing Vita owners under the bus. No new games, that $250 console is a small Wii U tablet thing for your PS4 at best. (I don't own a Vita, but really want an excuse to get one. Like, anything more than just Persona 4 Golden).

I imagine it will require decent download speeds to do it - and the cache (they'd be stupid not to cache it) for the data gets cleared every so often if you aren't logging in (there's some parallels to Microsoft's setup if they go this way, except in this case it's a temporary cache for streamed data, which you are explicitly subscribing to access to, and thus fine in my book).
That really was all you could ask for. Price, No DRM, good exclusives and good multiplatform titles.
