it's more precise to shoot one guy in the back than potentially shooting through a ton of bystanders in the ten miles between you and the guy

....no. No no no no no. If some bushes and a couple building are a problem for you then nearly TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND miles of earth, including the core are a much larger problem. Really there are so many reasons why it's bad, horrible, not good idea and that's the whole point! It's bitching. It's rad. It's a fucking over the top awesome comic moment.

Today I bring you guys a great moment from Alan Moore's Swamp Thing. From issue #50, with art by John Totleben, this is the deaths of Sargon the Sorcerer and Giovanni Zatara.
A group organized by John Constantine consisting of Zatanna, Mento, Sargon the Sorcerer, and Zatara has gathered at the home of Baron Winters to try and assist Swamp Thing, who has traveled to the edge of Hell in order to try and oppose a being known only as the Great Evil Beast. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be able to do much against the entity. It first sets its sights on Sargon:
Later, Zatanna attracts the Beast's attention. Thinking quickly, Zatara casts one last spell.
