I should have invested in bearing manufacturers. All these people on youtube seem to think the solution to their magnet motors eventually stalling out at the point of lowest potential is spending more money on bearings.

It took me a surprising while to figure out where the mistake was in maths of the people who build the little ramps, but of course it's obvious really - they slide magnetism out of the equation because calculus is hard and modeling magnetic attraction on a round ball is actually not trivial.

Sorry. Though, if it eases your mind, that's all "trailer stuff". It's only a spoiler if you're on media blackout.

I am not super worried about what you posted, as it sounds like stuff I will experience pretty darn quick. It was more of a "oh crap I hope he doesn't get further in watching a let's play and post something bigger" type of thing. <3

Does anyone else get that "shiver down the spine" feeling when you feel like you're suddenly shifting emotional gears?

It seems to happen pretty reliably when I read certain things, or listen to certain music where the mood is meant to be shifting.

Man I know it's about the dorkiest example but this track from FFVI gives me that reaction right around the 1:14 mark and again at the 1:53 mark

So I did what I should have done and asked Leigh what kind of game she wants to run. She's not interested in running a Detective Story, also sword and sorcery is out. She had mild interest in a Supers game but she wanted something a bit sneakier. We narrowed things down to a shades of gray Jane Bond/Tamsin Crown Affair kind of game with an emphasis on social combat over physical combat. So I'm pondering the Cortex + Leverage system. Let her play a Grifter/Thief.

Vice is sometimes great and sometimes deeply creepy. A fashion photoshoot where all the models pose as famous female writers at the moment of their suicide falls firmly into the latter camp. WTF, Vice?

Just sort of sitting here tabbing back and forth between D&D and my OKC profile where there's a queer transfella, a poly straight girl, and a kinda cute bi guy sitting in my quiver.

Both parties showed their evidence on a projector screen. Apple’s legal team used a MacBook to shuffle between evidence documents, stacking them side by side in split screens and zooming in on specific paragraphs.

In contrast, the Justice Department’s lawyers could show only one piece of evidence at a time. One video that Mr. Buterman played as evidence failed to produce the audio commentary needed to make his point.
