I have a hopeless backlog since I bought the Paradox Interactive deal two summer sales ago. It was like 15 games that each support over 150 hours of play, with all the DLCs and whatnot. I have given up trying to complete it; the 350+ hours I got from Europa Universalis III frankly paid for the whole thing by itself.
This year I plan to be more... surgical. At the top of my list? Tomb Raider on a flash sale of 66% or greater.

And yeah, it may have the sort of art that appeals to kids, but the dialog and humor is definitely geared toward adults. Not because it's dirty or risque or anything (I think there might be a couple of innuendos is all), but just because it's likely to go over childrens' heads. Death being bored out of his mind because "this is a point and click adventure and nobody ever dies in a point-and-click adventure!" is probably much more funny to an adult.

It's funny - I never realized the option was there to allow it to be displayed. It's a bit like that guy for the privacy protection service who used to put his social security number on the side of buses to show how secure they were. Like "You can't gift bomb me, and I'm so sure of it, here's my email address."

A few pages ...erh...threads back, the game 'unepic' was reviewed and given some negative looks because of a few annoying bits of gameplay. I've been playing through it and have been rather impressed by its gameplay and length. Recently, I got to the annoying bits of gameplay in question, and while I admit the issue is annoying its also rather avoidable. With care i simply equipped crappy weapons so my good items would not get turned into a toy hammer. Some of the other points raised seem restricted to challenges which do not have to be done to beat the game.
Basically ive had a good bit of fun with the game, and give it a hearty thumbs up.
