While I sit and wait for it to download, have any of you had your Vita hard-lock during the "Preparing to Download" portion of the purchasing process? Like, you can't cancel out of it, and when you try to do anything, a little "do not enter" sign pops up? I have it happen ~30% of the time I start a download, but usually restarting the Vita fixes it.

It was a good 75% of the time, for a while. Don't think it's happened in my last couple DLs, though - have to do a hold-the-power-button reset, go back in, download it again and then it would start up.

I do know about it. God help me, I wish I didn't, because Kara means I'm going to buy it eventually even though I'm awful at Rhythm games. I'm waiting patiently for a sale, myself.
Jesus christ this screen is amazing. The color reproduction is better than my fancy-ass Planar 2611W (which is, granted, a few years old at this point). Still, wow.

Happens EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. on my Vita. I prefer digital downloads but it's gotten to the point that I stopped downloading my free PS+ stuff and just 'buying' on the SEN web store. It takes me 2-3 tries to get anything actually downloading.
There is a way to fix the hard lock issue. Involves booting your vita up in safe mode and rebuilding database. When I get back from my dentist appointment I'll look it up

I used to watch a ton of anime when I was younger, and I still love some Jpop, but that game looks terrible and boring to me. I do not understand the appeal.
*edit* You will have to remake all of your folders and redo your background images, so there is that unfortunately
I've done that before but not since this issue became worse. I guess I will do it every few months to keep things working. I hope they fix it though! Thanks @malkoth .

Course not! :P
Find it again in the store and it'll say Download rather than Purchase, all your purchased items have a little red icon next to em too. Or go to your Download List, everything you've ever purchased will be in there. ;D
But woah hey if you delete that game, you'll delete the save file too. Back up the save file first!

Hook it up to yer PC with Content Manager Assistant, back up the Application. Saves you redownloading it too - much faster to put it back across via CMA.

Huh. According to Yoshida's Twitter, Vita Firmware 2.60 is out and one of the main features(?) is that every LiveArea screen now has a PS Plus icon so you can fiddle with your cloud saves right there instead of going into the Content Manager. Pretty neat.
Rumor is that tomorrow, XSEED will announce that they're localizing the Vita and 3DS Senran Kagura games. If you don't know what those are, do a youtube search in an incognito window when you're not in mixed company.
