I am kind of mad that they are making a Superman/Batman movie, because I would rather them just make a Man of Steel 2 that I could safely ignore.
Now I have to pay them money because I am a terrible person. Even if that movie is great it's still going to be attached to one of the most severely disappointing movies I have seen. Not to mention I'm the kind of dude that likes to own an entire series and buying a sequel without owning the original is already making me twitch.

Well you see, DC has this thing, where they scream at everyone "BUT WE HAVE THE OLDEST CHARACTERS! LOVE US, AND LOVE BAT-SUP-MAN and even though we constantly reboot the world, you should love us anyways just because we say so."
Meanwhile Marvel embraces character history and employs writers who know what people are interested in. Grand epic stories (Avengers/New Avengers) and fun yet dangerous tales of adventure(Cap Marvel, Young Avengers, JiM)

You can have Kid-Loki teamed up with a Kree discophile, or you can have "we'll make batman more hardcore that's what the kids want"

I honestly don't think DC cares about having the oldest characters (at least in the movie department).
It's more like (again, in the movie department), they've spent years flopping around going "Oh god oh god oh god we fucked up the Batman franchise and the Superman movies are over... X-Men was popular bring in Singer! Oh shit, that didn't go so well... Uh... Nolan! Oh shit, that went great! Well obviously people want dark gritty characters, lets make Superman dark and gritty!"
Somewhere in there a lower level guy must've seen Fantastic Four and decided to make a Green Lantern movie in a similar style and no one fucking caught him until it was already filmed.
It's like Marvel called all in with their universe and DC keeps trying to make the best out of their hand without just folding and waiting for the next round. I am not great at poker metaphors.

I think it was completely worth it just to have a comic book film reacting to other comic book films. The Mandarin reveal was so great after seeing 2 Batman flicks where he was fighting characters who were basically comic book villains acting as terrorists. Just having some asshole pretending to be a terrorist for a paycheck and an acting gig was so refreshing after those movies just holding that shit to your head and demanding that you take these comic book villains seriously.

The twist wasn't the cop-out I was referring to; it was more of how toned down the Mandarin was compared to his comic counterpart.
I don't know why people seem to think Iron Man 2 was "incoherent". The plot seemed pretty easy to follow to me. Not saying that excuses its flaws however.

Thor had the magic/technology kinda cop-out.
Captain America copped out on actually showing people fighting Nazi's
Iron Man 3
Except the last one.

Those are all bad points.
Fine. Hawkeye's outfit.
It's like when an dork sees the confident guy get the girl so they go "oh hey girls like jerks so I'll be a jerk"
I think X-Statix is swell.
EDIT:
Carol Danvers is god damn amazing.
Agreed.
It's creepy as fuck.
I disagree on all counts.
They can choose death or exile
being boring was the main problem
But it was still pretty enjoyable
I thought it was mind-controlled Kree-tech, like the rest of her costume
So what does the sash do?
Besides look really fashionable, I mean.
