I'm just wondering because my hands are pretty sore lately... it could easily be because of the weight of the millstones I've got to move around and clean while I'm trying to process the samples, but where this is a new experience I find myself wondering and worrying at times too. My right hand feels pretty sore in a couple places...
I couldn't hack that fucking job. I'm a bit of a hypochondriac.
I'm pretty good with the mask, although there tends to be a lot of dust in the air. I've gone home to my basement wearing the same pants with the cuffs covered in ground in dust. They sat on my floor for a few days before being chucked in the wash. Is that bad?
Also... should we be wearing eye protection?
We've got an old fashioned geiger counter to check samples with, and some of them sound pretty crazy to listen to... that's gamma radiation, right? There's no worries about having my hands covered in a sample like that for a few moments at a time for 8 hours straight?

Minor exposure is probably not going to kill you, but I would be extra careful anyway about bringing the dust home with you etc. so it's probably a good idea to put the pants in the wash immediately since that'll flush the particles out with the water. Eye protection is probably not necessary since you'll wash anything else off when you shower, and you're dealing with relatively safe materials.
Geiger counters work by keeping a tube of gas under an electric field. When radiation ionizes a particle it is accelerated across the gap and detected as a current spike. As far as I know, geiger counters can detect different types of radiation depending on how they're configured - I'm not overly familiar with the specifics.

Good night, people. Except Variable. I just wish that guy would leave already.
I want to know who the guy from PV who keeps booking the AFM before me is doing, because I consistently have trouble with the TappingMode tip afterwards.

Aem, how the hell did you not die in Phalla? Your survival defies logic.
Simply put: I rock.
Really, I'm just beyond gleeful. I can't believe I managed to fool so many people, three nights in a row. I mean, I actually led three bandwagons. Not just participated/followed, but straight up started three bandwagons. And somehow I didn't get staked.

Weep.
Gay men have a tendency to be shallow and selfish.
At least as far as I have seen.
Obor-
No. No, I can't do it.
They're better than those who purposefully try and become/measure themselves against the gay stereotypes.
and I don't even have a clue where you were going with it!
Did you notice that I was gone?
Variable: Probably for the best.

buggery?
That would have made for a more interesting thread.
Now we've got an interesting conversation going!
Mongolians know how to have a good time, am I right?
Details good sir?
Random violence really pisses me off like pretty much nothing else. Oh Yagami Light, where are you when we need you?
Yeah, my not being dead is a rather impressive feat, huh.
