As I recall, the autocomplete doesn't stretch across the width of the window like it does below. And yet it is, as of this morning. Is anybody else getting this? Has anybody gotten it before? And how do I restore it back to how it was?

So I'm not crazy or the only one who noticed this.

Also, something I've noticed at the same time:

I don't remember that box being so...white and empty.

I noticed it at the same time, and did some searching. There were a couple of recent google group threads that had answers from google employees that mentioned that it's "working as intended" in order to fit windowed browsers, or something like that.

Having trouble turning up the actual threads, but yeah, the ugliness is intended apparently. It was so weird how it changed out of nowhere, though. Glad we're all not crazy!

I was wondering what the hell was up as well--figured it was an update, like how they changed the settings icon to look more like the Android phone key for the same.
